Pearls
Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape #141659
Adhesives:  Fast Fuse or SNAIL
Tombow Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Thick Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your patterned paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Attach to card base.
3.  Let’s make our Skunk now.  Punch:
~Basic Black:  head, body, tail
~Whisper White:  Body, Face part, hair, tail
NOTE:  The easiest way to slim down the Tail stripe is to attach it to the sticky part of a Post-It note and hold it in the tail part of the punch trimming off the same width along one side.
~Flirty Flamingo (small flower on Blossom Builder Punch)
~Use the smallest Layering Oval Framelit on the Whisper White Body punch out to cut the white body front.
4.  Assemble and glue together:
~The Head:  Basic Black Head, Whisper White face piece and hair.  Use your Basic Black Marker to edge the hair.  Choose the Eyes & nose stamp you want and Stamp it on the white face piece with Memento Black ink.  Now add the Flower with a Pearl in the center.
~Body:  Glue the Whisper White oval cut out to the Basic Black Body.  Glue the Body to the Head.
~Tail:  Glue the Whisper White stripe to the Basic Black Tail.  Glue to the Body.
We are now finished with the Skunk.
5.  Cut your Whisper White Tag at 1-7/8″ x 4″.  Punch off the top with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  Decide where to stamp your Fresh Fruit Circles, the stamp in Memento Black ink.
6.  Attach your Skunk to the Tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I used half Dimensionals.
7.  Add your Washi Tape at the lower part of your Tag.
8.  Add your Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon to your Tag Hole.  I used about 6″ of Ribbon, folded it in half, then put the folded edge through the front of the Tag Hole.  I then threaded both ends through the ribbon loop at the back of the Tag Hole and pulled the Ribbon tight.  Attach the Tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure one of the half Dimensionals is on the Ribbon.

I hope you have as much fun making animals as I have with the Foxy Friends Bundle!

I saw a couple of Bunnies made with the Foxy Friends Bundle, but tweaked it so I was happy with the ears.  I hope you enjoy making your own version of this Bunny.
Foxy Friends-BunnySUPPLIES:
Bundle:  Foxy Friends Photopolymer stamp set + Fox Builder Punch  #142326
Ink:  Flirty Flamingo
Memento Black
Cucumber Crush
While Wasabi
Early Espresso
Card Stock:  Whisper White
Pink Pirouette
Chocolate Chip
Punch: Classic Label #141491
Other:  Stamping Sponges #141337
Paper Snips
Tombow Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Let’s make the Bunny first.  You can use either a 1-1/2″ strip or a 2-1/2″ strip of Whisper White to punch out the Bunny Body, Head, and two Tails which become ears.  Punch out 1 Pink Pirouette Classic Label.  Fold it in half so the points match, then cut on the fold line.
2.  Hold the two “Ears” (Tail punch part) together and trim off the curved ends to get the shape of ears you want.  Trim the Pink Pirouette Label halves (at the same time) to get the inside of the Bunny Ears.  I had the pointed part of the Classic Label go at the bottom of the Ears.  Glue together.
3.  Trim the ears off the Bunny Head.  Choose the eyes and nose stamp you want.  Stamp the face.  It was easier to dot each eye on the Memento Black and the nose on the Flirty Flamingo ink pad, then to use Markers.  Make sure there is no excess ink on the stamp as it will end up on your Bunny.  Glue the ears to the head now.
4.  Stamp two Flirty Flamingo paws on the Bunny Body.  Glue the Body to the Head.
5.  Stamp the Tree Stump on Chocolate Chip card stock with Early Espresso ink.  Cut out.  All the small stuff is finished now.
6.  Cut your Whisper White card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Sponge the “Grass” with Crushed Cucumber ink at the bottom.  Stamp the multi-leaf stem in Wild Wasabi ink on the grass and at the top of the card front (Tree leaves).  Sponge the center with Soft Sky ink until you get the shade you like.
7.  Lay out the Tree Stump and the Bunny in the desired position.  Attach the stump first.  I attached the Bunny with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add a sentiment if desired.
8.  Cut your Pink Pirouette card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.  Attach your card front to your card base.

Here are Stamping 101 and Stamping 102 cards made by my friends at our Upline Meeting.  I hope this inspires you to make your own Stamping 101 and Stamping 102 cards.

MADE BY KAREN
Karen used the NEW Swirly Bird Photopolymer Bundle #142353.  For her 101 card she just stamped on the card base.  For her 102 card she cut the card front off at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and layered it on a Dapper Denim card base.  She also added some die cuts from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.
Karen's Stamping 101 CardKarens Stamping 102 CardMADE BY BILLIE
Billie used the NEW Designer Tin of Cards Photopolymer #141739 stamp set.  I did not get a picture of her Stamping 101 card.  She just stamped the words directly on the card base for 101 and added the layers (Layering Squares Framelits) for 102.  She also added some Pearls for 102.
Billies Stamping 102 CardMADE BY SHARON
Sharon’s Stamping 101 card has everything just stamped on the card base.  For her Stamping 102 card she just stamped the tree and leaves a second time on Whisper White card stock then cut it in a rectangle and layered it with the same color of card stock as she stamped the Tree in.  She them punched out a small heart and layered it on the rectangle.  She used the Sheltering Tree stamp set  Photopolymer #137163.
Sharons Stamping 102 CardI hope this gives you some ideas to either simplify your cards using Stamping 101 Techniques, OR add some layers, die cuts, or embellishments for a Stamping 102 Card.

At our Upline Meeting at Sharon’s House she had us do a basic single layer card (Stamping 101), then add some elements with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the card some Pop (Stamping 102).  The purpose of this was to help us help teach beginning stampers to design their own cards – which are usually stamped on the card base, then step it up with a few simple additions.  It was a fun experience.  Try it for yourself and have some fun!  It took us about 1-1/2 hours to make the two versions.  We did just use our Stamping 101 card and added to it.
Painter's Palette - Stamping 101We started out with a NEW Stamp set in front of us.  I even got to assemble it for her since it was Wood Mount.  She had all the NEW In Color ink pads, card stock, and the NEW Ruched Ribbon.  There was also Whisper White card stock, the NEW Duet Banners Punch, and the NEW Layered Squares Framelits.

STAMPING 101 CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.  Watch this Video if you need help making a card base.
2.  Lay your card base in the landscape position – with the fold at the top.
3.  Stamp your words in the center of the frame in Emerald Envy ink.  Use your Stamp-a-ma-jig if you want.  Watch this Video to learn how to use your Stamp-a-ma-jig.
4.  Choose the ink stamps and the ink color for each stamp.  Stamp each stamp diagonally in the same direction in at least two places.  Fill in any large spaces with the smaller stamps.  Yes, one stamp will look like it is going backwards.  No one will notice unless you tell them.  Remember to stamp straight down and straight up to avoid getting “Ring around the Rubber”.
5.  Your basic Stamping 101 card is finished!

Painters Palette - Stamping 102STAMPING 102 CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Follow all the steps for the Stamping 101 card.  You do NOT need to stamp the words in the center as you will be covering them up.
2.  Stamp the following on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.
~Stamp the Painter’s Easel two times in Dapper Denim ink.
~Stamp the words in Emerald Envy inside one of the Frames of a Painter’s Easel.
~Stamp “A Little Expression of Love” In Emerald Envy ink.
3.  Use your Paper Snips to cut out around one of your stamped Painter’s Easels.  Only the two feet and the top will be showing so cut those pieces extra well and the frame will be covered up.  Attach to the center of your card with either SNAIL, Fast Fuse, or Tombow Glue.
4.  Choose the Layered Square Framelit you like best to cut the Frame out of the other stamped Painter’s Easel.  I chose a Scallop one that was slightly larger than the Frame.  Cut it out with your Big Shot.  Sponge around the Scallop edges with a Stamping Sponge wedge and Dapper Denim ink.  Attach over the Frame of your Painter’s Easel which is on your card front.
5.  Punch out the “A Little Expression…” with the Duet Banner Punch.  Put your card stock in the punch so you can see the stamped words through the Banner holes in the bottom of the punch.  Line up the words so they are in the position you like and punch.  Sponge some Emerald Envy ink around the edges of the punched banner.  Put some Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your punched banner.  Attach it to the upper left corner of your card front.
6.  Tie a bow with the Ruched Ribbon.  If you have trouble tying a bow, just tie a knot with about 1-1/2″ on one end and then cut off the other end to match.  Attach to your Painter’s Easel on the upper right corner with Glue Dots.
7.  A few extra steps can take your card from cute and nice to impressive.

Have fun making a Stamping 101 Card and then adding some layers to it for your Stamping 102 card!

2.  Cut your Whisper White card stock at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Get your embossing folder.  Find the smooth side where the parts to be embossed are lower than the flat part.  Use your Emerald Envy ink pad to ink up this side of your embossing folder.  Don’t worry about keeping the center oval clean as it will be covered up.  Put your Whisper White card stock on the UNINKED side of the embossing folder and get it in the position you want – with the Oval in the center.  Close your embossing folder and run through your Big Shot.  Set aside to dry.  Clean your embossing folder with running water from your sink.
3.  Stamp “Hooray” and “Happy Birthday” in Emerald Envy ink on Whisper White card stock.  Punch out the Hooray with a 2″ Circle Punch.  Cut out the Happy Birthday with the Banner Framelit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits set.  Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of both pieces.
4.  Choose the Oval Framelit that fits best inside the Oval on the embossing folder and cut it out of Emerald Envy card stock.
5.  Now it is time to put everything together and turn it into a card.
~Use Tombow Glue to attach your embossed card stock to your card base.  Center it so the card base shows equally around your embossed piece.
~Add your cut out Oval over the Oval space on your embossed piece.  I used Tombow Glue.
~Decide the position of your “Hooray” and “Happy Birthday”.  Remove the Stampin’ Dimensional backs and attach.
6.  If you are like me and did not leave enough room on both sides of your Happy Birthday so it could be in the center when you cut it out, then you can punch out a few Stars from the Confetti Stars Punch and glue them to your Happy Birthday Banner.  😉

Have fun making your own Hooray Happy Birthday Card to celebrate the next birthday in your family or for a friend!

BASKET INSTRUCTIONS:
Watch this Video for basic instructions on putting the Basket together.
1.
Cut your Blackberry Bliss at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and Farmer’s Market Designer Series Paper the same or just cut in half for a 6″ x 12″ paper.
2.  Cut your papers using your Big Shot and the Berry Basket Die.  You can cut two sheets of card stock at once, but only one sheet of Designer Series Paper at a time as the score lines will tear if you do two sheets.
3.  Glue the Blackberry Bliss and Farmers Market pieces together for the Berry Basket main parts and the handle.  Fold the score lines on the Berry Basket Parts.  Decide if you want the patterned paper on the outside or the solid color on the outside.  Lay the two Berry Basket parts together and put Tombow Glue or Tear & Tape to attach the bottom Basket Parts together.
4.  Put Tear & Tape Adhesive on the outside top edges of each Berry Basket Side.  Take the two Scallop Edge pieces.  Fold on the score lines.  Glue the small tabs to the edge of the other Scallop Edge piece to form a square.  Attach each Scallop side to a Basket side centering the Basket side.  Repeat on all four sides.
4a.  This is the way I should have done it.  Glue together a Blackberry Bliss and Farmers Market Straight Piece for the Handle.  Punch a 1/8″ Circle in the center of two opposite sides and each end of the Handle.  Attach to the Basket with the Antique Brads.
5.  If desired, use the Patterned Scallop Pieces around the inside top of the Basket to cover the Brads.
6.  Stamp the Easter Blessings in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White card stock.  Cut out with the Deco Label Framelit leaving some space above your Easter Blessings.  Attach a Honeycomb Embellishment to the top of your Easter greeting with Glue Dots.  Attach the Deco Label with to the front of your basket with either Fast Fuse, Tear & Tape, or Tombow Glue making sure the adhesive is only on the part attaching to the basket.
7.  Fill with Easter Grass and goodies.

CARROT INSTRUCTIONS:
Pyramid Pals CarrotCarrot Top
1.  Cut out two Pyramid shapes from Tangelo Twist card stock.  Fold all score lines the same way for each piece.  Rotate the pieces over the bottom square so the plain triangles are opposite each other and the triangles with tabs are across from each other.  I found it easier to use Tombow Glue to glue the tabs behind the plain triangles.  Press firmly on the sides to make sure they stick together.
2.  Cut a 2″ square of Cucumber Crush card stock.  Add some Tear & Tape Adhesive along one edge.  This will be the bottom.  Use your Fringe Scissors to cut down to the Tear & Tape, but not past it.  Cut into 1/2″ pieces.  Attach to the center of your Carrot Top.
3.  Add to your Easter Basket.

Happy Easter!

Today is my Botanical Blooms class.  We are making 4 cards including the two posted earlier this week.  I also made another card from some of the pieces.  Since I could not decide which ones to post I will show you all three.  I will only give brief details for each.  They all use the Botanical Blooms Bundle (stamps, Framelits, Designer Series Paper) and one uses the Sale-a-bration Botanical Vellum paper.  Have fun!

Card 1 – Three Squares Card

Botanical Blooms CardTips:
~Hello Honey squares are 2″ and sponged with Cajun Craze.
~The Designer Series Paper squares are 1-3/4″ square and sponged with Cajun Craze.
~The Vellum is 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″.  I laid out all the pieces and attached the squares to the Vellum.  I then added adhesive under the squares to attach the Vellum to the Mossy Meadow card base.

Yellow Flower Card

Botanical Blooms CardTips:
~Hello Honey card base, Cajun Craze layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Patterned paper is 3-3/4″ x 5″.  Use your stamp and Mossy Meadow ink to stamp lines on the blank leaves on the paper.  I thought this was pretty fun.
~Stamp a large leaf lines and a medium leaf lines in Mossy Meadow ink on Mossy Meadow ink.  Cut out with the coordinating size Leaf Framelits.  Next time I will use Dimensionals under the leaves so they stand out better.
~Cut your Flower and two flower centers from Hello Honey card stock.  Attach the centers with Glue Dots.  I did not use Dimensionals under the center petals and will add them the next time.

Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Fern Card

Botanical Blooms CardTips:
~Cut your Daffodil Delight card base.
~Cut your Old Olive card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Cut out Ferns from the front.  (I just used the piece I had cut the ferns out of for my class.)  Attach it to your card base.  I just used SNAIL.  Tombow Glue would have been a better choice though.
~The Cajun Craze square is 1-1/2″.  The patterned paper square is 1-1/4″.  Both are sponged with Cajun Craze ink.  These are attached to the card front with Dimensionals.
~The “thinking of you” is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and punched out with the Word Window Punch.  The Daffodil Delight is punched out with the Washi Label Punch.  The Botanical Garden Flower Jewel is attached with a Glue Dot.

Here is our second card using the Botanical Blooms Bundle and Botanical Gardens Vellum Stack.  This card is much quicker to make than the last one shown, but still will impress the person you give it to.  This card is even good to give to men! (But probably only if he is willing to wear a flowered Hawaiian shirt.  You couldn’t pay my DH enough to wear a flowered shirt.  My DILs could con my sons into wearing a flowered shirt though.)
Botanical Blooms Banner CardSUPPLIES:
Botanical Blooms Bundle #140819  This Bundle includes:  Botanical Blooms Photopolymer stamp set, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper, and Botanical Builder Framelits.
Card Stock:  Hello Honey
Cajun Craze
Mossy Meadow
Botanical Designer Vellum Paper Stack #141019 (Sale-a-bration product FREE with Botanical Blooms Bundle or other $50 purchase until March 31, 2016.)
Big Shot:  Botanical Builder Framelits (See Bundle above)
Precision Base Plate #139684
Banner Framelits #132173 (Optional)
Adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals
Glue Dots
SNAIL or Tombow Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Hello Honey card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Choose the Vellum pattern you want from the Vellum stack.  Cut at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
3.  Cut your Mossy Meadow at 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Cut your Leaf Border with the Big Shot.  I just used SNAIL on the back including the leaves to attach it to the Vellum.
4.  Make your Banner.  Choose the paper you want.  I think I used the Banner Framelits.  (I really should write things down!)  It is about 1-7/8″ wide x 3-1/4″ long.  You can just cut a rectangle and cut the notch or use the Banner Triple Punch.  Attach it to the Vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5.  Cut out your flower and fern parts.
~Cut your fern type leaf from Mossy Meadow.  I used the Precision Base Platform.  If you use your Magnetic or Multipurpose Platform make sure both cutting plates are FLAT so every part will cut well!!  You can use the Big Shot Die Brush to help remove it from the Thinlit.
~Cut your large flower from Cajun Craze card stock
~Cut your Flower center from Hello Honey card stock
6.  Assemble and attach your Flower and fern to the Banner.  Lay out to decide where you want to put everything.
~Add your Fern with a couple of squished Glue Dots to make them thin enough to fit underneath the card stock.  Notice the fern hangs off the Banner and over to the Leaf Border.
~Slightly curl up the Flower center and attach it to the Flower center with a Glue Dot or two.
~Place a half Stampin’ Dimensional on the back of the each center petal and in the center back of your flower.  I also squished Glue Dots into a line and put at the tip of each thin outer flower petal.  Place over the end of your Fern.  (Sorry about all the white space.  WordPress just would not do the crop like I wanted.  I spent way too much time trying to fix it.  I really wanted you to see how the inside petals stuck up with a half Dimensional under them.)
Botanical Gardens Flower-close up7.  Put SNAIL or Glue Dots on the back of your Vellum under the Leaf Border solid areas and under the Banner pieces.  Yes, the lower left lorner is loose and not attached.
8.  You now have another all occasion card to give someone special.
