This You Bring Joy & Laughter Card uses the Patterns of Friendship Stamps and the Fancy Border Dies. Add some pretty paper behind the Hearts for a Peek-a-Boo effect.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Patterns of Friendship Stamps (also part of a Die Bundle-save 10%)
Ink Pad: Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad
Cardstock: Highland Heather cardstock
Melon Mambo cardstock
Unbounded Beauty 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Fancy Border Dies (also part of a Bundle-Save 20%)
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Highland Heather Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~DSP Print: 4″ x 5-1/4″
2-Stamping:
~Choose your Words.
~Stamp them in the center of your Card Front with Memento Black ink.
3-Hearte:
~Decide where you want to cut your Hearts on your Card Front.
~Cut one strip on above your Words.
~The other Hearts Strip will be below your Words.
~Cut out two Hearts from Melon Mambo cardstock. Glue on each side of your Words.
4-Finish Your Card:
~Glue your DSP Print behind your Card Front. Only put Glue around the edges not where the glue will show through the Hearts.
~Optional: If you don’t like the color of the DSP Print showing when you open the card you can put a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Cart Insert to cover it. To balance the weight you will also need a Card Insert (4″ x 5-1/4″) on the inside to write on.
