This You Brighten My Day Card from the February 2023 Sunshine & Smiles Paper Pumpkin Kit is so cute! There was one challenge. I will give you two options to solve the problem.
SUPPLIES:
February 2023 Sunshine & Smiles Paper Pumpkin Kit
Other Supplies:
Thick Basic White cardstock #159229
Memento Black ink pad #132708
Old Olive ink pad #147090
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue #
iNSTRUCTIONS:
1-Gather Your Kit Supplies:
~Orange Squares Card Base
~Stampin’ Dimensionals
~Mango Melody Ink Spot and Stamps
~Die Cuts: Grass, Turtle, Duck Grass, Two Clouds, Raindrop Embellishments, Banner to fit the Words you choose
2-Cut Your Papers:
~Thick Basic White Back to write on: 4″ x 5-1/4″
3-Add Your Die Cuts:
~Glue your Grass die cut to the inside of your card.
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your Turtle and Duck.
~Lay out your Turtle and Duck where you want them with the Card Front closed. Attach them.
~Glue one Cloud under the opening so most of it shows through the Window.
~Place the other Cloud on the outside top left corner of the Card Front and glue on.
~Close the Card Front and add Three Rain Drop Embellishments.
4-Finish Your Card:
You have Two Options to finish your Card:
~Option 1: Add a Basic White Card Back (4″ x 5-1/4″) to the Back of your Card Base. This will be used to write on. This is the option I chose. I stamped the Frog with Old Olive ink, the Kite String with Memento Black ink, and the Kite with Mango Melody ink. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the Kite until it was dark enough.
~Option 2: Glue your Card Front to the inside of your card. In other words. Glue the front and back together so it is flat. Glue it to a regular Card Base using either Thick Basic White or Mango Melody cardstock. (Cut at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4″)
