My four-year-old grandson got really excited when he saw this Oh, Whale! stamp set in the catalog as I was looking through it in December trying to decide what to pre-order. (If you become a Demonstrator you can also order products from the NEW Catalogs a month before the general public can! Click the “Join My Team” Tab at the top of the page.)
This would be a simple card to make multiples of. If you are going to make multiples I would recommend getting the Oh, Wave! Wheel to make your waves and letting the child roll the waves onto the card stock. Why not let them help! I am all for creating an independent Crafter! That way we can work side by side on our own projects!
Crafting also teaches children many important skills, both mental skills and fine motor skills. Learning these skills is extremely important in advancing their development of other learning skills. (Is that a good enough reason/excuse to share your love of crafting with them?)

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Choose Heart Framelit size you want and cut one from Whisper White card stock using your Big Shot. I chose the largest one that wasn’t scalloped.
2. Decide how far up you want your “water” to go. Line up the straight edge of your Marina Mist card stock to that height on the same Heart Framelit used before.
3. Stamp the Waves in Marina Mist ink on your “Water”. Trim the top waves with your paper snips.
4. Hold your “Water” up on the card and decide where to stamp your sentiment. Stamp it in Real Red Ink. Stamp lots of small Hearts in the rest of the “Sky” part of your card.
5. Adhere your Marina Mist “Water” to your Whisper White Heart with Tombow Glue.
6. Stamp your Whale in Midnight Muse ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut out using the Happy Whale Clearlits Die and your Big Shot. Adhere the Whale to your card with either Dimensionals or Tombow Glue.
7. Find the little white fish that you cut with your Clearlits Die. Color it with your Real Red Marker. Add an eye with the Basic Black Marker. Adhere it to your card with Tombow Glue.
8. Write any desired sentiments on the back of your card such as the TO: and FROM: .
9. Admire your cute little Whale Valentine card.
