This Under the Sea Birthday Card uses the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper punched out the with Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. The Happy Birthday is from the Posted For You stamp set.
SUPPLIES:
Bundle: Posted for You stamps + Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch #154075
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Soft Seafoam
Whale of a Time 6×6 Designer Series Paper #152460
Punch: Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch #152709 (Part of Bundle)
Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal #152813
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut your Soft Seafoam card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Cut two 1-1/2″ x 6″ strips from your Designer Series Paper along the bottom of the pattern.
you will need to turn your punch so you get the long shape of the punch.
Punch out three punches from each strip.
Attach the left and center punches to your card base on both rows.
For the two punched pieces for the right side you will need to trim with with the Punch to 1-1/4″. Here is how to do it:
~Trim your paper to 1-1/2″ cutting off the part that would extend over the card base. Mark the 1-1/4″ mark with a pencil or pen.
~Use a Post-It Note to hold the punched paper at the punched end.
~Now help it slide into the Punch Hole up to your pencil mark so the pencil mark is just at the edge of the scallops. Punch. Repeat with the other one.
Now attach your two squares to the rows.
Stamp Happy Birthday or other words in Pretty Peacock ink directly onto your card base.
