This card uses a very basic Paper Piecing Technique.  For more detailed Paper Piecing projects subscribe to The Creative Technique Corner.  The Paper Piecing Technique is CT22.

1.  Choose the following things from your Kit:  Bermuda Bay striped card base, 3 colored Die Cut Butterflies and 2 plain Butterlies, Short Banner.  You will also need Clear Mount Blocks for your stamps, the other supplies listed above, and your adhesives.  Choose your sentiment if you want something different than shown.  You want the sentiments to coordinate on the Banner and the Butterflies.
2.  Stamp the plain Butterfly die cuts with Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight ink pads using the “Hello” stamp.  I tried to stamp in lines to fill the entire die cut.
3.  Remove the excess pieces from the colored Butterflies using your Bone Folder.  Attach these Butterflies to the stamped Butterflies by putting 3-4 Glue Dots on the Body of each Butterfly.  Fluff up the wings.  Color the body of the smallest Butterfly die cut with your Calypso Coral Marker.
4.  Stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink.  Put Dimensionals on the back.
5.  Decide what size of Lots Of Labels Framelit you want to use and cut it out of Pool Party card stock.  Put Dimensionals on the back.
6.  Position everything the way you want it.  Attach the Lots of Labels die cut first, then the Banner.  Attach the two larger Butterflies with Dimensionals.  Attach the smallest Butterfly with Glue Dots under the center of the Body.
7.  You now have a beautiful Butterfly Card!

Tin of Cards-Last White card base-Congrats

This is actually the last card (16th card) I made using supplies from the Tin of Cards Project Kit.  I had been thinking of using the swirly line stamp to stamp the card background.  I had also tried using the Deco Label Framelit to make a Pool Party striped embossed mat for another card, but didn’t like it so I used it here.  Have fun!  Remember to check back every Wednesday for another card from the Tin of Cards Project Kit.
Tin of Cards-Swirly Stamp BackgroundSUPPLIES:
Tin of Cards Project Kit  #138378
~Solid White card base
~Congrats circle
~Gold Heart
Tin of Cards stamp set  #138946
Island Indigo ink pad
Pool Party Marker & card stock
Glue Dots
Big Shot:  Deco Label Framelits #130102
Stylish Stripes embossing folder #132174

1.  Get out a solid White card base.  Stamp the swirly line stamp in Island Indigo ink diagonally starting at one corner.  Continue stamping the swirly lines about 1″ apart.  Sometimes you will need to stamp again to finish the line.  Repeat until the lines are complete.
2.  Cut a Deco Label Framlit from Pool Party card stock.  Then run it through your Big Shot with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder.  Color the raised stripes with your Pool Party Marker.  Attach to your card front with Dimensionals.
3.  Choose your round sentiment.  Attach a Gold Glimmer Paper Heart using Glue Dots.  Attach your sentiment to the Deco Label with Dimensionals.
4.  You are finished!  Now either file it in your Tin to use later, or give to someone right away.
