Address Label Gift Tags. Oops! I ran out of Gift Tags and I need to mail these packages in three hours!

I dug out my Christmas wrapping paper yesterday and didn’t find any self adhesive gift tags.  It was 1:00 and I needed to get to the Post Office by 4:00.  I was going to be cutting it close time-wise anyway since I had lots of gifts to wrap, box up, and mail.  I did have a few Gift tags from my Tag Class but that wouldn’t be enough.  I remembered I have some address labels.  I pulled out my address labels, 3 inks, and my Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set (w#120847  c#121187.  I stamped an image on each address label.  Lots of gift tags ready in less than 5 minutes!  After I wrapped my gift I wrote in the “To” and “From” information on the address label gift tag.  Luckily I stamped just the right amount!  Use this idea for a quick rescue.  Your family will think you are very creative and will appreciate the handmade gift tags.

Remember to check out the Clearance Rack in My Online Store!  Lots of items that retired in May are now available at a 40-80% discount:  the Box #2 Bigz die, the Matchbox Bigz XL die, ribbons, punches, stamps (first time ever!), papers, old style ink pads, single markers, wheels, lots of ribbons and other embellishments.

Christmas Mini Milk Carton

Winter & Christmas Card & Project IdeasHere is a cute little Mini Milk Carton to fill with a small Christmas gift or some Christmas treats.  This is another quick project you can make when you remember someone needs a little surprise.  You can change the Card Stock Color and use the Every Little Bit, or Spooky Bingo Bits stamp sets or any 1″ to 1-1/2″ stamp to help decorate your Mini Milk Carton for any Occasion you need.
Christmas Mini Milk Carton

Stamps:  Jolly Bingo Bits w#120857  c#121187
Tiny Tags  w#118091  c#118592
Big Shot:  Mini Milk Carton Bigz L Die #117310
Punch:  Jewelry Tag #117190
Card Stock:  Real Red
Whisper White
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler
Gumball Green
Embossing Powder:   Pewter #124114
Early Espresso #128980
Other:  Heat Tool #129053
Glue Dots
Sticky Strip
Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine #125572
Piercing Tool and Mat
In Color Printed Brads #122940

1.  Cut your Mini Milk Carton out with your Bigz die using a 501/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Real Red card stock.  I used a shim (piece of card stock) under the die and the crease pad on top of the die and card stock.
2.  Fold and crease all score lines except the diagonal ones.
3.  Decide which two stamps to use from the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set.  I chose the reindeer and jingle bell.  Stamp one image in VersaMark ink alternating sections.  Sprinkle with embossing powder and pour excess back in jar.  Melt with Heat Tool on High.  Repeat stamping and embossing process with the other stamp.
4.  Put Sticky Strip on the side tab and three of the bottom tabs.  Flip over so the images are laying against your table and put Sticky Strip on the last bottom tab.  Remove backing from side tab and adhere to the side.  Remove backing from the first three bottom tabs and adhere together.  Remove backing from the last bottom tab and adhere it to the bottom of the Milk Carton.
5.  Stamp desired images and words from the Tiny Tags stamp set onto Whisper White card stock paying attention to the direction you want them to go when you are finished.  Punch out using the Jewelry Tag punch.   Use your Paper Piercing Tool and Mat and Pierce holes at the end of each little Tag.  Thread Baker’s Twine through the holes and tie the ends together. Pierce a hole through two layers of the top of the Milk Carton.  Insert brad and wrap the Baker’s Twine ends around the stem of the Brad.  Flatten out Brad tabs.  Put Sticky Strip over the Brad Tabs and stick the back section of the top portion together.  (I used Glue Dots and they didn’t hold well, so I would recommend that you use Sticky Strip instead.)
6.  Fill with a little surprise or treats for someone special.

Christmas Tags for your Packages

Have you wrapped your Christmas gifts yet?  All packages need a tag.  Here are some cute little tags to add to your Christmas gifts.

Merry Christmas! My favorite tag uses the Scallop Circles #2 die, the largest circle punch, a retired sentiment, and Tags Til Christmas stamp.  The “To:” and “From:” are on the back.

O Christmas TreeI used the Two Tags die, Jolly Bingo Bits, and a couple of Circle punches.

Sparkly Christmas TreeI really used my Big Shot for this tag:  Stocking Accents die for the tree, Two Tags die, Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.  Make sure and put the 2 punched circles on the tag before you use the ribbon.  It will prevent tearing of the tag.

Christmas OrnamentI used the largest circle punch, scallop circle punch, Tags Til Christmas stamp, and Ornament punch.  Oops I forgot to add the Baker’s Twine before I took the picture.

Christmas Day!This was the quickest tag to make.  Just stamped on the Two Tag die.  I guess I haven’t been good at checking for the Baker’s Twine.  I will have to add it.

Peekaboo Jolly Bingo Bits

This is a fun little card I made while playing around trying out ideas for my Stamp Class.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Card Stock:  Garden Green 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card front
Whisper White card base & 3-1/2″ square & scraps for stamping and punching
Real Red for Peekaboo Frames
Ink:  Whisper White
Markers:  as desired depending on what stamps you choose.  Here is what I used:
Ornament:  Garden Green, Real Red
Christmas Tree (under window): More Mustard-star, Garden Green-tree, Chocolate Chip-tree trunk
Santa Hat:  Real Red, Basic Gray for around the white parts
Santa (under window):  Same as Santa Hat plus Chocolate Chip-eyes, Real Red-mouth
Jingle Bell-Basic Gray, Bravo Burgundy
Reindeer (under window):  Chocolate Chip
Candle: Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Basic Gray
Christmas Light (under window): Real Red, Basic Gray
Big Shot:  Peekaboo Frames die (Holiday Mini) page 36  #124587
Punches:  1″ Square  (Holiday Mini) page 36  #124094
1-1/4″ Square  page 212  #119865
1.  Cut out 4 Real Red Square Peekaboo Frames.  Because there is a score line, just cut one at a time for best results.
2.  Color 8 different Jolly Bingo Bits stamps and stamp them on the Whisper White card stock.  Punch the ones that show with the 1″ Square punch.  Adhere by putting adhesive on the Peekaboo window.  The stamped and punched edges will hang over the window a little.  I just tried to center them so they hung over the sides evenly.
3.  Punch stamped images that go on the inside of the windows with the 1-1/4″ punch.  Put adhesive on the back of the Peekaboo Frame.  Center image while looking through the window.
4.  Adhere decorated Peekaboo Frames to Whisper White 3-1/2″ Square.  Adhere this square to Garden Green Card Front.
5.  Stamp sentiment in Whisper White craft ink.  (Optional:  you can use white embossing powder).
6.  Adhere to Whisper White card base and have fun peeking in the windows!Have a sneak peek!Happy Stamping!
