Here is our second card using the Botanical Blooms Bundle and Botanical Gardens Vellum Stack. This card is much quicker to make than the last one shown, but still will impress the person you give it to. This card is even good to give to men! (But probably only if he is willing to wear a flowered Hawaiian shirt. You couldn’t pay my DH enough to wear a flowered shirt. My DILs could con my sons into wearing a flowered shirt though.) SUPPLIES: Botanical Blooms Bundle #140819 This Bundle includes: Botanical Blooms Photopolymer stamp set, Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper, and Botanical Builder Framelits. Card Stock: Hello Honey
Botanical Designer Vellum Paper Stack #141019 (Sale-a-bration product FREE with Botanical Blooms Bundle or other $50 purchase until March 31, 2016.) Big Shot: Botanical Builder Framelits (See Bundle above) Precision Base Plate #139684 Banner Framelits #132173 (Optional) Adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals
SNAIL or Tombow Glue
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Hello Honey card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Choose the Vellum pattern you want from the Vellum stack. Cut at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. 3. Cut your Mossy Meadow at 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Cut your Leaf Border with the Big Shot. I just used SNAIL on the back including the leaves to attach it to the Vellum. 4. Make your Banner. Choose the paper you want. I think I used the Banner Framelits. (I really should write things down!) It is about 1-7/8″ wide x 3-1/4″ long. You can just cut a rectangle and cut the notch or use the Banner Triple Punch. Attach it to the Vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 5. Cut out your flower and fern parts.
~Cut your fern type leaf from Mossy Meadow. I used the Precision Base Platform. If you use your Magnetic or Multipurpose Platform make sure both cutting plates are FLAT so every part will cut well!! You can use the Big Shot Die Brush to help remove it from the Thinlit.
~Cut your large flower from Cajun Craze card stock
~Cut your Flower center from Hello Honey card stock 6. Assemble and attach your Flower and fern to the Banner. Lay out to decide where you want to put everything.
~Add your Fern with a couple of squished Glue Dots to make them thin enough to fit underneath the card stock. Notice the fern hangs off the Banner and over to the Leaf Border.
~Slightly curl up the Flower center and attach it to the Flower center with a Glue Dot or two.
~Place a half Stampin’ Dimensional on the back of the each center petal and in the center back of your flower. I also squished Glue Dots into a line and put at the tip of each thin outer flower petal. Place over the end of your Fern. (Sorry about all the white space. WordPress just would not do the crop like I wanted. I spent way too much time trying to fix it. I really wanted you to see how the inside petals stuck up with a half Dimensional under them.) 7. Put SNAIL or Glue Dots on the back of your Vellum under the Leaf Border solid areas and under the Banner pieces. Yes, the lower left lorner is loose and not attached. 8. You now have another all occasion card to give someone special.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Early Espresso card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Reindeer paper at 3″ high (top & bottom) x 4″ wide at sides making sure the deer are upright. Attach to card base with Fast Fuse. 3. Cut your Real Red Banner at 1″ x 4-1/4″. Punch ends with Triple Banner Punch OR just cut out notches with scissors. Attach above Reindeer Paper with Fast Fuse. 4. Stamp A Very Merry Everything in Real Red Ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch out with the Note Tag Punch. Put Dimensionals on the back and attach to card. Add a Star button to the top with Glue Dots. 5. Add 3 large Real Red Enamel Dots to the top of the card. Add a small Real Red Enamel Dot to a Reindeer’s Nose to turn him into Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pear Pizzazz card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Pear Pizzazz card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run through your Big Shot with the Brick Wall embossing folder. Glue to your card base. 3. Cut your patterned paper banner at 2″ x 4-1/4″. Punch out the notch with the Banner Triple Punch. Attach to your card front with Dimensionals. 4. Stamp your sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink on Very Vanilla or Whisper White card stock. Punch out with the Word Window Punch. Use your Washi Tape Punch to punch out a Pumpkin Pie mat for your sentiment. Layer together with Dimensionals. Attach to card front with Dimensionals. 5. Choose at least one wood element and attach to your card front with Tombow Glue. 6. If you want a fancy envelope, just run the envelope flap through your Big Shot with the Brick Wall embossing folder. Watch this video for more detailed instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Garden Green card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Whisper White card stock at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Take your scissors (scissors with a longer blade were easier for me) and cut wavy lines along the edges. The edges do not have to be even. 3. Make sure and stamp on top of your Stampin’ Pierce Mat for good results. Stamp your Tree Leaves in Garden Green ink on your Whisper White card front towards the top, leaving about a 3/8″ border at the top of the card stock. 4. Stamp your Tree Trunk in Chocolate Chip over the Tree Leaves. 5. Stamp your Grass in Garden Green at the bottom of your Tree Trunk. 6. You could just stamp your sentiment under your grass in Chocolate Chip ink if you want. OR if you mess up……. Stamp your sentiment in Chocolate Chip on a piece of 1/2″ high x 4-1/4″ long Whisper White card stock. Trim with the Banner Triple Punch. Cut your Garden Green Banner at 1″ x 4-1/4″. Trim with the Banner Triple Punch. Layer the Banners with Dimensionals and attach to your card front. TIP: You might want to make a pencil line where you want the tips (longest ends) of your Banners to end. Just make sure to punch off your line. Otherwise, there is a lot of guesswork and wasted paper. 7. Attach your card front to your card base. I used lots of half Dimensionals. 8. Send it to someone and bring a smile to their day when they get their mail.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Watermelon Wonder card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. (I would use either Bermuda Bay or Pool Party for the Birthday Boy.) 2. Cut your Balloon print paper at 2″ wide. Make sure your print is going the correct direction. Put the bottom into the Banner Triple Punch to cut the notch off the bottom. Wasn’t that fun and easy! Sponge around the edges with Watermelon Wonder ink if desired. Attach with Fast Fuse or SNAIL. 3. Stamp the cupcake liner with Tip Top Taupe ink on Whisper White card stock. Stamp your “Cloud/Frosting” in Watermelon Wonder ink on top of the cupcake liner on the Whisper White card stock AND on some Watermelon Wonder card stock. Punch out the Watermelon Wonder card stock Frosting. 4. Color the candle with the Watermelon Wonder marker and the flame with the Delightful Dijon marker. Remoisten and stamp so the candle only sticks above the frosting about 1/2″. Punch out the whole cupcake with the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch. If your candle is too tall you can use an Oval Framelit. Now sponge around the edge with Watermelon Wonder ink. 5. Finish the cupcake by coloring the cupcake liner with the Delightful Dijon marker. Layer on the Watermelon Wonder Frosting with Dimensionals. Tie a Baker’s Twine bow and attach with a Glue Dot or Tombow Glue. Put Dimensionals on the back of the Circle and position on the card front. 6. Your card is now ready to give to the Birthday Girl or Boy.
