This Striped Paper Strips Card is made from two colors of cardstock which has been cut into 1/2″ strips. It is a pretty easy card to make. You can use any papers you want, and vary the width of the strips.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Pool Party Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Stripe Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″ any color cardstock. I used Bermuda Bay
~Pool Party Strips: Cut Four 1/2″ x 8-1/2″ strips
~Bermuda Bay Strips: Cut Five 1/2″ x 8-1/2″ strips
2-Striped Card Front:
~Put Tear & Tape around all four edges of your Stripe Mat. You can put some all the way across the center long ways.
NOTE 1: Strips
~Put your Strips on your Stripe Mat with the ends hanging off both sides.
~You will use some of the Strips that hang over the edge in a position toward the the corners.
NOTE 2: Trimming:
~Cut the Strips individually as you attach them to your Stripe Mat.
~Trim them as you need them towards the corners.
~I trimmed them all off by cutting along the edges of my Stripe Mat.
~Take your first Bermuda Bay Strip and place it diagonally from corner to corner.
~Rub to attach to Tear & Tape.
~Place a Pool Party Strip on each side of your first Bermuda Bay Strip. Make sure the cardstock edges of each strip touch the strip next to it.
~Repeat. Alternate Colors. Cover your Stripe Mat.
~Trim off the excess Strips with scissors or your Paper Trimmer.
3-Word Label:
~Stamp your Words on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black ink.
~Cut out with the Oval from the Fabulous Frames Dies.
~Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Put Foam Adhesive Strips around the edges of your Stripe Mat and down the middle of the 5-1/5″ part. Attach to your Card Base.
~Attach your Stripe Mat to your Card Base.
~Attach your Word Label to your Striped Card Front in the position you want it.
Your Striped Paper Strips Card is finished.
