I wanted to use the clear flocked window sheets that came in the Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. I added some Red and Silver Glimmer Paper Scallop circles and topped them off with the Merry Christmas from the Mixed Medley Hostess stamp set from the Holiday Catalog. This was a very quick and easy card to make. Cut, stamp, punch, adhere, done in about 5 minutes!
I hope your Christmas preparations are about finished. I finally have all my shopping finished, and packages mailed. Hopefully by the time you read this I will have the rest of my Christmas cards mailed and the decorating finished. My kids were excited that the tree was up almost two weeks ago. My grandson helped me decorate it earlier this week. There is nothing that makes me smile like a tree decorated with the help of a preschooler…. a line of ornaments along the lowest branches, several ornaments all on the same branch or “globbed” really close together. And the excitement of keeping “secrets” which will surprise others on Christmas. It will be fun to have two of my children and their families with me on Christmas! My posts next week will be short and sweet since I will be spending time with my family.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Cherry Cobbler card base. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2. Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White card front and a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Candlelight Christmas flocked window sheet. Place Glue Dots under some of the red flocking and adhere it to the Whisper White card front. Adhere these to the Cherry Cobbler card base.
3. Punch a 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle and a 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle from Silver Glimmer Paper.
4. Punch a 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle and a 7/8″ Scallop Circle (Optional) from Red Glimmer Paper.
5. Stamp the Merry Christmas from the Mixed Medley stamp set using Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch out with the 3/4″ Circle Punch. Adhere to the 7/8″ Red Glimmer Paper Scallop Circle with Dimensionals. Adhere these to the 1-1/4″ Silver Glimmer Paper Scallop Circle with Dimensionals. Then adhere these to the 1-3/4″ Red Glimmer Paper Scallop Circle with Dimensionals. And finally adhere these to the 2-3/8″ Silver Glimmer Paper Scallop Circle with Dimensionals. Adhere them all in the desired position on the card front with Dimensionals. Yes, the hardest part of this card is taking off all the Dimensional backs.
