My grandson and I were watching a video on the Papercrafter’s Library. We saw a fun snow globe card made with a Treat Cup that had a Santa Claus in with some snow to shake around. Well I didn’t have that Santa stamp so I thought the Snowman from the Tags Til Christmas stamp set would work well. My grandson wasn’t happy with me using a snowman. He did say I could give it to his cousin though. I do have some retired Santa Claus stamps, but they were all too big (in my opinion). He chose the smaller Santa Claus for me to use on his tag. He was busy painting so he had me do the stamping and coloring. He showed me where to stamp the Santa. He approved my coloring. and told me where to put the Treat Cup with the “snow”. He also had me write on it. He was very happy with how it turned out! I added his photo of him holding his card to the picture of his card. He is very opinionated when it comes to stamping! And he is only four!
So today I will be showing you both versions: My Snowman Tag which we will be making at my Tag Class tomorrow, and his Santa card.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SNOWMAN TAG:
1. Cut Real Red card stock 2-7/8″ x 5-1/4″.
2. Cut Whisper White card stock 2-3/4″ x 5-1/8″. Punch 1-3/4″ Circle in desired position towards top of tag. Punch or Trim the top two corners diagonally. Run through Big Shot with desired Embossing Folder.
3. Stamp Snowman image with Midnight Muse ink. You might want to stamp once on a scrap first, then stamp on your Whisper White card stock. Write in the To & From now with a pen or marker. Punch your image out using the 2-1/2″ Circle punch.
4. Fill your Treat Cup with “Snow“. You might want to wipe the inside of your Treat Cup with a used dryer sheet first since the inside has static. My grandson enjoyed the static though. Peel the adhesive backing off the Treat Cup and center it over your Snowman. I held everything up so I wouldn’t spill the snow. My grandson thought I was really funny. Give it a couple of shakes to see the “snow“.
5. Put some SNAIL or Glue Dots on the Snowman paper and around the base of the Treat Cup. Position under your Punched Circle on the Whisper White Tag front. Now adhere the whole thing to the Real Red Tag back. Trim the upper two corners so they match.
6. Stamp your sentiment on a strip of Whisper White in Real Red ink. Place it diagonally across the left corner. Trim the edges.
7. Add your 1-1/2″ x 2-7/8″ Designer Series Paper strip to the lower portion of the tag front.
8. Shake your tag “to test it out” and make sure it works. We should have a little fun before we give it away!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SANTA CARD:
1. Stamp the Santa stamp with Black StayzOn ink on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Whisper White card stock.
2. Color as desired with Markers.
3. Cut the “snow” pieces or have your little helper cut the pieces into a bowl. Put the desired amount of “snow” into the Treat Cup.
4. Remove adhesive backing and place the Treat Cup with Snow over the desired portion of the stamped and colored Santa.
5. Write the To and From portions with Markers.
6. Adhere to a piece of 5-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Real Red card stock.
7. Give to your favorite little someone and watch them have fun shaking it!
