Do you need to Sharpen Your Punches because they are getting dull and not punching a clean cut? It is really easy if you follow these simple steps!
1-Supplies needed:
~Aluminum foil from your kitchen
~Wax Paper from your kitchen
2-Now you can Sharpen Your Punches With Foil:
Adjust how wide you tear your foil so you can fold it so it forms three layers of foil to punch through. Don’t worry if there are creases on the top of the foil and if it is not perfectly flat. The 2″ strip will fit most punches.
Punch as close together as you can so you can get more punches out of your strip.
~Tear off a 6-8″ strip of Foil and fold it into 2″ strips.
~Punch along the length of folded Foil until it is filled with Punched Holes.
~If your Punch images in the foil are tearing the foil or not punching completely repeat the steps above.
3-Wax Paper:
Was Paper adds a slick surface to your punch cutting area so it glides through the cardstock easier.
~Tear a 2″ wide piece of Wax Paper.
~Punch down the strip as you did with the foil.
4-Test:
~Now punch on some cardstock. You should be able to punch easily.
Now you know how to Sharpen Your Punches.
NOTE: Eventually your punch may actually wear out if you use it enough and will need to be replaced.
