I received My Paper Pumpkin Kit on Monday afternoon. It was a little later than expected. I know some had received theirs a week earlier. Oh well. I really had fun with the supplies in this kit. I do like the “Seriously” stamp, but I am not too fond of the statements on the other two although I did use a Marker to get the “love you” portion of one stamp. I did one card like the Kit suggested. I really enjoyed coming up with ideas for the other three cards. I do have one button and some linen thread left over to use on another project.

Whale Card. I used the Oh Whale stamp set and Clearlit from the Spring 2013 Catalog. I stamped the Whale in Smoky Slate ink on Smoky Slate card stock. I added Googly Eyes from the Holiday 2012 Catalog.
Dress Card. I have been wanting to use this All Dressed Up Framelit set. I cut the Dress out of Baja Breeze card stock and used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder on it. I wrapped the Linen Thread around the waist 5 times and added 3 small Rhinestones. I cut the Dress form out of Very Vanilla card stock. I added a Rhinestone for a necklace. The “Thinking of You” is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The Hearts are from Tiny Tags-retiring.
Flower Card. I have been enjoying making 3D flowers since February this year. I stamped “Seriously” in the talk bubble. I positioned the Green Tag, then the talk bubble. I used a Midnight Muse Marker to color the “love you” on the stamp, then stamped it on the small Very Vanilla die cut. I cut the notch at the end with scissors. I doubled the Linen Thread and threaded it through two of the button holes and tied a bow. I punched 4 different Scallop Circles from the Wave card stock. (2-3/8″, 1-3/4″, 1-1/4″, and 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punches) I broke down the fibers with my Bone Folder until the card stock split then gently peeled the card stock in half. I then I rolled each printed part of the Scallop Circle into a little ball. I unrolled them and left them slightly crinkled, lined them up, pierced a hole and inserted a mini brad I then crunched each of the Scallop Circles straight up then fluffed them until I liked the way they looked. I covered the brad with a Twitterpated Button tied with some of the Twine. I put several Glue Dots on the Tag where I wanted the flower and then attached the flower.
Happy Paper Pumpkin Playing!
