INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Garden Green card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Adhere to card base.  When I am making a card for a child under 8 I always use Tombow Glue to keep it together.  I want the child to be able to hold and play with the card without it falling apart.
3.  Now to make the car body.  Cut a 1″ strip of Garden Green card stock.  Use the 3rd from the largest Oval Framelit to shape your car.  Now cut a diagonal to about 1″ from the front of the car.  Sponge around the car edges with Smoky Slate ink.  (I suppose you could just trim the 1″ strip to the design you want.  I wasn’t feeling that patient though.)
4.  Wheels and hubcaps.  Punch two 1″ Circles from Basic Black card stock.  Punch two 3/4″ Circles from Smoky Slate card stock.  Emboss your Smoky Slate hubcaps with the Snowflake design from the Delicate Designs embossing folder.  Center the hubcaps as desired in the embossing folder.  Sponge the raised designs with Smoky Slate ink.  Glue to the Wheels.  Glue wheels to car.
5.  Window.  Punch half a 1″ Circle from Vellum card stock.  Now use your 1″ Circle punch to punch a window shape using the punched half circle as the “Inside the car” part of the windshield.  Sponge around the windshield with Smoky Slate ink.  Use Tombow cover the part of the windshield that will be under the car.
6.  Glue the car to the card front.  Use only a drop of Tombow at the tip of the windshield.  Use can use lots of glue under the card stock.
7.  Stamp your sentiment in VersaMark.  Cover with Black Embossing Powder.  Remove excess embossing powder.  Melt embossing powder with Heat Tool.  Cut sentiment out with scissors.  Glue to card front.
8.  Vroom Vroom!!!  Enjoy your cute Racing Car Birthday Card.
