Quick Christmas Cards with My Granddaughter

Here are some Quick Christmas Cards with My Granddaughter. She wanted to make cards to give to those in her school class. We made 26 in about 1 hour! She chose the papers she wanted. Her class does not read cursive yet, so I printed up some “Merry Christmas” Words for her to punch out. She chose a retired punch

Quick Christmas Cards with My Granddaughter

SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Choose the Words you want
Ink Pad: Whatever color coordinates with your paper.
Cardstock: Thick Basic White cardstock
Joy of Christmas 12×12 DSP (no longer available)
Punch: Choose any Label Punch or Die to fit your Words
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:
We made “Postcard” style cards that don’t open. You can use a regular card base if you want.
~Card Base-Basic White: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
~DSP Print: 4″ x 5-1/4″

2-Tag:
~Stamp your Words with the desired ink color OR you can cheat like I did and print them up. The easiest way is to make a Table on a Word doc with 3 columns across and 5 rows down. Make them fill the entire 8-1/2″ x 11″ page. I have 1/4″ margins on all four sides. Print on either Basic White cardstock or thicker printer paper. We used 32 lb. Cut your paper in Rows so you can easily punch out your words.

3-Finish Your Card:
~Glue your DSP Print onto your Card Base.
~Add your Tag. We just glued it on.

Now you can do your writing on the back.

Your Quick Christmas Cards with My Granddaughter are finished.
