Poinsettia Christmas Card

Make this elegant Poinsettia Christmas card for your family and friends this year.  It is a fairly quick card to make.  Yes, you do have to hand cut the Poinsettia.  Sorry there is not a Framelit to help us out here.  We do use Edgelits to cut the side of the Gold Paper.  The magnetic platform is really nice for this project.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Cherry Cobbler card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your Brushed Gold card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Use the Edgelit to cut each long side trying to have the pattern in the same position on each side.  It is easier if you have two Edgelits so you can cut both sides at the same time.
3.  Emboss the cut edges of your Gold card stock with your embossing folder making sure the same side is facing up on both sides.
4.  Stamp your Poinsettia in VersaMark ink on Cherry Cobbler card stock.  Sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder.  Remove excess.  Melt with your Heat Tool.  Cut out around edges with your scissors.  This goes pretty quickly.
5.  Position Poinsettia and sentiment as desired on Gold card stock.  Stamp sentiment in VersaMark ink and use Cherry Cobbler embossing powder.  Adhere Gold card stock to card front with SNAIL or Tombow Glue.
6.  Adhere Poinsettia to card front with plenty of Dimensionals.
7.  Add a drop of Tombow Glue to each center circle in your Poinsettia.  Sprinkle with Gold Glitter.  Set aside to dry.
8.  If you want you can emboss your envelope flap with the same embossing folder used on your card.
