Here is a cute Owl card you can make for any occasion. It is a pretty quick card to make. Change the colors to fit your mood or the season. This is a great card to use up your card stock scraps!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2. Cut your paper strips 1-1/2″ wide x 6″ long. Cut one each: Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, and Gumball Green. Emboss with the Woodgrain embossing folder. You can do two side by side inside the folder. Put a line of Tombow Glue on the top and fold of your card base. Add your Cherry Cobbler strip. Place your Cajun Craze strip at an angle. Put Tombow along the top and bottom edges of your card and along the sides of your Cajun Craze strip. Adhere. Your Gumball Green strip will be straight up. Put a line of glue at the top and bottom edge of your card where the strip will be and glue along the sides of the strip. Adhere. Trim the top and bottom where the strips hang over the edge.
3. Punch your Owl Body from Baked Brown Sugar card stock. Punch the lower part of your Owl from Tangerine Tango card stock. Punch the Owl Vest from Always Artichoke card stock. Punch a 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle from Baked Brown Sugar card stock. If you don’t have Googly Eyes then punch out the eye pieces you want.
4. Owl Assembly. Trim the feet off your Baked Brown Sugar Owl. Glue the Tangerine Tango lower body and feet onto the back of your Owl. Glue the vest onto the front of your Owl. Place the Googly Eyes or the Eye pieces in the desired position on the Owl face. Hand cut a small triangle for the beak and glue it on. (A pair of craft tweezers is helpful here.) Cut your 1-1/2″ Scallop Circle in half and use each half for a wing. Glue to the back of your Owl in the desired position. Put some Dimensionals on the back and set aside.
5. Cut the desired size Deco Labels from Whisper White card stock and Early Espresso card stock. Layer with Dimensionals adding your Owl to the Top Layer. Adhere in desired position.
6. Stamp your sentiment on Whisper White card stock in Early Espresso ink. You can stamp the Mosaic Madness design of your choice in Cajun Craze inkeither before your after you punch out the sentiment with the Large Oval Punch. Punch the Decorative Label from Crushed Curry card stock. Edge your punched shapes using either your Early Espresso ink pad or a Marker. Adhere punch layers to each other and your card with Dimensionals.
7. If you want to add a special touch to your envelop flap you can emboss it using the Woodgrain embossing folder.
