INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Cut Your Paper:
~I used a standard 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Basic White card base. You could use a 3″ x 8-1/2″ piece of card stock.
~Score at 4″ and 4-1/4″ and 4-1/2″
2. Cut Your Oval using the largest Scallop Oval Die.
~Fold your paper so that it is folded in half with a score line showing on each side.
~Leave about 1/4″ between the cardstock bottom and the inside of the die.
~Cut it out.
3. Stamp & Color:
~Stamp your image and Words where you want on both sides with Memento Black ink.
Color with Stampin’ Blends or other Coloring Tool:
~Balmy Blue-Light: Bird Heads & Wings
~Petal Pink: Dark for the shading on the Bird Body, Light for the whole Bird Body
~Mango Melody Light: Bird Beaks
~Light Granny Apple Green: Leaves
~Rich Razzleberry Light: Flowers
~Crumb Cake – Light: Branches
4. Attach Your Candy Bar using Glue Dots and folding the wrapper as shown in the video.
5. Finish Your Treat Holder:
~Push the Punch down as far as you can on the top of your Oval. This is what I did on the first one. It will hopefully leave enough cardstock on the top so the cardstock won’t break.
~Thread your ribbon through each hole. Tie a knot.
Your Oval Spring Candy Bar Holder is finished.
