Stampin’ Up! is now offering an Online Class called “The Basics.” (#133385) It consists of 6 sections to help you use all the Basic Stampin’ Up! Tools to make cards. There is a PDF file for each section and several short videos showing you how to do portions of some of the projects. There is a good variety in the projects you can make. You provide all the supplies. You can use what you have for most of the supplies by substituting stamp sets, card stock colors, etc. You can order what you need from My Online Stampin’ Up! store. The File will show up just like a My Digital Studio Download. Click your Operation System (Mac or Windows), then next to your item click “For Other Applications.” Make sure and choose a place on your computer so you can find them again! I made a new folder called “Stampin’ Up! Online Classes” and put it with other Stamping instructions I have.
PC Instructions. The files will be downloaded as archive files (.zip) that you can then extract and save on your computer. When you click on the download link, an extraction program will automatically launch. Choose the location where you would like to save the files (be sure to note where you save them). Follow the prompts on the extraction program, then navigate to the location where you saved the files. Click on the file and open. Start your Online Class.
Mac Instructions. When you click on the download link, the file will be mounted as a drive. Once it is mounted, open the drive and drag and drop the files to the location of your choice on your hard drive. The files can then be opened. Start your Online Class.
Another fun thing Stampin’ Up! is offering is called Paper Pumpkin. You will get a complete kit in the mail every month! All supplies will be included except adhesive. This includes Clear Mount Stamps, 1 Clear Mount Block in your Welcome Kit, Stampin’ Spot Ink Pads (which you can reink with the Ink Refills from Stampin’ Up!), All the card stock will already be cut the size you need . These are quick projects to add a little fun to your life. There will be a variety of projects over the months. The Welcome Kit has 4 cards. There will be cards, of course, and also 3D and decor items. It will be a fun surprise in your mailbox each month!! The projects are perfect for beginning crafters and crafters who are short on craft time. Each project should take about 30 minutes or so to complete. This is a monthly subscription service for $19.95 a month (shipping IS included in the price!). You can skip a month if you need to. You can cancel at any time. THE HOSTESS CODE
Have you wanted to host a Workshop so you could earn the Hostess Benefits, but you live too far away from me? Stampin’ Up! is helping us. The Hostess Code is here. Your guests go to My Online Store and enter the Hostess Code you give them, then place their order Online. They will have a certain period of time to place their orders. It will be shipped directly to their home. I will place your order the day after the the Online Order period and we know how many Hostess Benefits you earned. The orders need to total at least $150 in merchandise to earn Hostess Benefits. So if you have 5 friends that each order $30 or more you will qualify for Hostess Benefits. We can also arrange for you to have Class or Workshop in your home for your guests to come to. Please email me if you are interested.
