This Magnetic Cutting Plate for the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine Video teaches you the basics. I really like that the dies lightly stick to the Magnetic Cutting Plate and don’t jump around like they did with the old Magnetic Platform.

TIPS:
You can take your Magnetic Platform to your craft table to put the cardstock and dies on it.
Carry it to your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and put on top of Plates #1 and #2.
Check to make sure your dies are where you want them. Add Plate #3 to the top. Run through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine by cranking the handle.
You will only need to go forward with most dies to get a good cut.
If you are unsure whether your dies have cut through completely, just pull out the Magnetic Plate with your cardstock, dies, and Plate #3 holding them together. Flip them over. Gently remove the Magnetic Cutting Plate to see if the cardstock is cut properly.
If you need to run it through again, just replace the Magnetic Cutting Plate OR put a Plate #3 on the bottom. Add to Plates #1 and #2 and run through your Machine again.
