This It’s Your Day Pastel Spring Basic Z-Fold Card was made using some NEW Stamps and an Embossing Folder. I was reminded of this Fun Fold Card Technique
after watching a video by Connie Stewart. I changed the colors and stamps to use some NEW Products. I am loving the Pastel Shimmer Paper!
SUPPLIES:
*=NEW in January 2026
Stamps: *Fragrant Layers Stamps (also part of a Die Bundle)
Ink Pads: Strawberry Slush ink pad
Old Olive ink pad
Daffodil Delight ink pad
Cardstock: Basic White cardstock
Lemon Lolly cardstock
Pretty in Pink cardstock
*Pastel Shimmer 12×12 Specialty Paper
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: *Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder
Embellishments: Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Lemon Lolly Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score and fold at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″.
~Basic White for Stamping: Three 2-1/2″ x 4″
~Pretty In Pink Layer: 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″
~Bubble Bath Shimmer Layer: 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″
2-Stamping Basic White Layers:
Card Front:
~Stamp your Words with Strawberry Slush ink in the center.
~Use the Solid Flower Stamp with Strawberry Slush ink and stamp around your Words as many times as you want.
~Choose the Smaller Leaves stamp for the Leaves. I inked up the stamp, stamped off on scratch paper, then stamped on the Card Front.
~Use the Small Solid Circle Stamp with Daffodil Delight ink to stamp the Flower Centers.
Card Insides:
~Stamp one Flower, one set of Leaves, and the Flower Center in the upper right corner of both Card Insides.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Crease your Card Base Score Lines with your Bone Folder. Lay it with the short folded-back side on the Left as shown above. This shape is really a backwards Z.
~Emboss your Shimmer Paper with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder. Glue it onto the Right Side of your Card Base as shown.
~Glue your Card Insides inside your Card as shown.
~Attach your Card Front to your Pretty in Pink Layer. Decide where you want it on your Card Front and where to put the Glue. Attach it to your Card Front.
