This card uses the NEW Humming Along stamp set and is a #SimpleStamping Card. It uses stamps, ink, and coloring. You can use your favorite coloring products – I used Stampin’ Blends Markers. Just make sure you choose Memento Tuxedo Black ink instead of StayzOn Jet Black. StayzOn ink smears when used with Blends.

Cardstock: Thick Whisper White
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″.
2. Lay out your stamps where you want them on the card front. You can use the large Clear Block F to stamp all three stamps at once if you want. Watch This Video to learn the Stamping with Large Stamps technique. OR stamp each image separately.
~Stamp with Memento ink.
3. Color:
Make sure and lay some grid or scratch paper under your cardstock when using Stampin’ Blends Markers. Also, make sure the card is open and laying flat so you don’t make marks on the inside of your card.
~Dark Daffodil-Yellow Pollen flower part
~Old Olive-leaves and stems. Make sure and color the stem inside the flower before coloring the flower.
Flower Petals. Color one petal at a time for best blending results.
~Dark Rich Razzleberry: Use the Fine Tip to go over the lines coming from the center of the flower and to draw small circular lines along the flower petal outside edges.
~Light Rich Razzleberry: Color the whole petal, blending the dark circular lines until you can’t see a line and the color just goes for darker to lighter.
Repeat with each petal.
Humming Bird. I think they are really brownish. But I was not in the mood for browns. Choose the colors you want. I will tell you what I used.
~Beak: Dark Pumpkin Pie-Thin Tip
~Heat & Body: Dark Flirty Flamingo
~Feathers-Wings and Back: Light Lovely Lipstick and Light Flirty Flamingo. Color along the lines at one edge with the Lovely Lipstick and blend with the Flirty Flamingo.
