How to Wrap a Digital Gift for any occasion. Digital gifts can include Kindle books, Roblox Bucks, subscriptions, and anything else that you don’t have a physical item to wrap as a gift. One of my granddaughters wants a purse that is a preorder and won’t arrive until after Christmas. I am using this so she has something to open on Christmas.
There are two ways I do this.
Word Processor:
I use Word from Microsoft 365. This should work with any Word Processing program.
You will have to use the image “as is” with no personalization.
~Open up a blank document.
~Find a picture of your digital gift.
~Click on the picture so a pop-up shows and lets you “Copy Image”. You could also save the image if you want.
~Paste the image in your blank document.
~Drag one of the corners to make it the size you want.
~Print on Cardstock and cut out.
~You can now wrap it or put it inside a card like you would a gift card.
Canva:
~Choose the size you want. If you want to make it Gift Card size then choose “Custom”. A Credit Card/Gift Card measures 2-1/8″ x 3-3/8″. I just use 2.25″ x 3.5″
~Find your picture.
~Click and drag it onto Canva.
~Resize if desired and add anything else you want to personalize it.
~Download as a JPG file to a folder where you can easily find it.
~Open up a blank document.
~Choose “Insert”, then “picture”.
~Choose the picture from where you saved it to and click on it. You may have to click on “Open” or something like that.
~Resize if desired.
~Print on Cardstock and cut it out.
~Now you can Wrap your gift as desired.
How I did each Gift:
Purse:
~Dragged picture onto Canva
~Clicked “BG Remover”
~Added a Background that looked good with the Purse picture.
~Typed in some words.
~Downloaded as a JPG file.
~Inserted picture into a blank document.
~Printed and cut it out.
Roblox:
~Dragged picture onto Canva
~Dragged the “How to Redeem” info onto a second page.
~Resized and added a coordinating background to the Roblox Card picture.
~Downloaded each page separately as JPG files.
~Inserted both pictures into a blank document.
~Resized them so they fit next to each other. This way I could just fold them together after I printed them.
~Print. I just printed on heavyweight paper this time OR you could use regular Basic White cardstock.
~Cut out.
~Fold in half and glue together.
Now you know How to Wrap a Digital Gift.
