The Heart of Christmas & Adorning Accents Christmas Card

“It’s Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air.”  I have loved this saying since I first saw it.  I do love Christmas and the feelings of love, joy, and happiness that I feel at this season.  (Along with a little stress as the To Do list gets longer!)  I enjoy watching Christmas movies, listening to Christmas music, seeing the lights and decorations.  I enjoy seeing the excitement in little children’s eyes.  I do also love thinking of what I can do to please my family and bring some excitement and joy into their lives.

So I hope you enjoy making this fun little Christmas card.  As usual, it is pretty quick and easy so you could easily make multiples for your Christmas cards.  Enjoy!

1.  Cut your Cherry Cobbler card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/2″.
2.  Cut two each 5-1/2″ x 2″ Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green strips.  Use your Adorning Accents Edgelit to cut the 5-1/2″ sides of all four strips.  Now use the Adorning Accents Folder to emboss about 1/4″ from the cut edge.
3.  Stamp your Heart of Christmas sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White card stock.   Stamp the Bordering on Romance dotted border in Gumball Green ink above and below your Heart of Christmas sentiment stamp.  Use your Stamp-a-ma- jig if desired to help place your border stamp and to stamp the wreaths.
4.  Use the Adorning Accents Edgelit to cut the edges of your  Heart of Christmas sentiment focal point.
5.  Adhere the Cherry Cobbler Edgelit strips to the top and bottom of your  Heart of Christmas sentiment focal point, trying to keep them the about 1/4″ from the embossed line.  Now add your Gumball Green strips to the back of the Cherry Cobbler strips.  Adhere the whole piece to your card base.
