Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. Read more about the History of Labor Day from the United States Department of Labor. I am thankful that everyone in my family has a job. I am thankful that different people like different kinds of work so all the bases get covered. I am also thankful that we are continuing to improve working conditions in the United States. There are always ways we can improve. Everyone needs to work and do something to feel accomplishment and work helps raise out self-esteem.
I did make a MDS Card to celebrate Labor Day. Enjoy spending time with your family and friends.
Happy Labor Day!
