Happy Birthday in Blues Card

This Happy Birthday in Blues Card started out as a #SimpleStamping Card. My Flowers didn’t look good after I stamped them. I stamped them on White cardstock, cut them out, and layered them over my not so pretty stamping.

Happy Birthday in Blues Card

SUPPLIES:

Bundle: Delightful Wishes Stamps + Dies
Ink Pads: Secret Sea ink pad
Lost Lagoon ink pad
Pretty Peacock ink pad
VersaMark ink pad
Cardstock: Pool Party cardstock
Basic White cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Delightful Wishes Dies (part of Bundle above)
Adhesive: Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:

~Pool Party Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.

2-Basic Stamping:

NOTE: if your ink does not stamp smoothly… Clean your Stamp. Ink it with VersaMark ink, then the ink color you want. Reink your ink pad.

~Lay our your Larger stamps on your Card Base to determine where you want them.
~Wishing: Secret Sea ink
~Happy Birthday: Pretty Peacock ink

3-Flower Stamping:

NOTE: Choose if you want to add the additional step of die cutting out your Flowers.

Direct to Card Base Stamping:
~Stamp the more solid Flower stamp with Lost Lagoon ink.
~Use the more detailed Stamp and stamp with Pretty Peacock ink.
~Finish your Card by stamping some Smaller Flowers with Pretty Peacock ink on your Card Base.

Stamp then Die Cut:
~Use the more solid stamp with Lost Lagoon ink and stamp directly on your card base.
~Now stamp your Flowers on Basic White cardstock.
~Lost Lagoon ink for the more solid stamp.
~Pretty Peacock ink for the more detailed stamp.
~Die cut our flowers using the coordinating die.
~Attach over your Card Base Flowers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Finish your Card by stamping some Smaller Flowers with Pretty Peacock ink on your Card Base.
