This Hand-Stitched Fall Leaf Die Cut Card uses Dies from the Gathering Moments Dies and Baker’s Twine. Hand-stitching is fun and adds some texture to your cardstock leaf. Stitch along with me in this video.

SUPPLIES:
Bundle: Gathering Moments Stamps + Dies (also part of a Suite)
Ink Pad: Pumpkin Pie ink pad
Cardstock: Calypso Coral cardstock
Darling Duckling cardstock
Basic White cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: So Swirly Embossing Folder
Twine: Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack
Tool: Needle with a large eye and a sharp point
Adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Darling Duckling Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Basic White Word Label: 7/8″ x 2-1/4″

2-Leaf:
~Die cut your Leaf from Calypso Coral cardstock using both the outline and inside dies.
~Thread your needle with about 2-1/2 feet (30 inches) of Baker’s Twine.
~Tie a knot in one end of your Baker’s Twine.
~Stitch as shown in the video using a Back-Stitch.
~Don’t worry about how the back looks, as no one will see it.
~When finished stitching, cut your Baker’s Twine so there is about 1″ left.
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the end of your Baker’s Twine to attach it to your Leaf back.
~Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of your Leaf.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Emboss your Card Base Front by putting your Card Front inside the Embossing Folder and folding the back under your Embossing Folder.
~Emboss.
~Stamp your Words with Pumpkin Pie ink on your Basic White Word Label. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
~Lay your Stitched Leaf and your Word Label where you want them. Attach.
