This Great Birthday Card for a Guy took me some time to come up with. This card was for my husband’s birthday. I used metallic papers and embellishments.

Stamps: none
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce
Copper Foil #142020
Forever Gold Laser-Cut Paper #152493
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Well-Written Dies #151816
Rectangle Stitched Dies #151820
Embellishments: Star Sequins from the August World’s Greatest Paper Pumpkin Kit
Adhesives: Adhesive Sheets OR Stampin’ Seal OR Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut your Shaded Spruce card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Choose How to Attach your Laser-Cut Paper to your card base.
~Use Stampin’ Seal along all the edges. You can see the Stampin’ Seal through the spaces in the Laser-Cut Paper. There is some sticky that remains on the card front no matter what you do. This is what I chose not realizing how much sticky would remain.
~Use small dots of Tombow Glue around the edges and on a few leaves.
~I have not tried this. Next time I use a Laser Cut piece I will try this. Lay your piece upside down on your Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut an adhesive sheet the size of your piece. Peel and stick the Adhesive Sheet to your Laser-Cut piece. Cover the whole back. Peel off the Adhesive Sheet backing and attach your piece to your card base. Please let me know how this works if you try it.
Words & Label:
NOTE: I was not successful in using these curvy words with Foam Adhesive Sheets. I used Foam Adhesive Sheets under the Copper Foil and cut them in my Big Shot. It did not work very well as all the Die Dots were huge. And I had all those little parts sticking to everything. Maybe it was just a bad day to try that.
~Cut your Adhesive Sheet at 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″. Put it on the back of a Copper Foil Sheet the same size.
~Lay the Copper Foil Sheet and the die on your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Cover the Foil Sheet and die with a folded piece of printer paper. This will help keep your Foil flat and shiny.
~Now cut a 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″ Whisper White Stitched Rectangle for your Label.
~Peel off the Adhesive Backing on the Words and attach them to the Stitched Rectangle.
~Add the Stars or other embellishments with Glue Dots.
~Attach your Words Label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
