This Mother3 Earthbound Game Convention Birthday Card is for my granddaughter’s birthday. She was SO Excited to go to this event. I thought I would put some pictures she shared with me on her Birthday Card.
When using photos on a card choose cardstock colors that look good with the pictures. You want to use an accent color. I first tried coordinating the cardstock with her dress, but it looked blah. Then I tried several others and finally coordinated with the screen color. This helped the photos all look better. Good luck making your OWN Photo Card.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Beautiful Balloons stamp set #161450 (also part of a Die Bundle and Suite)
Ink Pad: Coastal Cabana ink pad #147097

INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Photos:
~Gather the photos you want.
~Resize them so Three will fit nicely on your card front.
~Print them on either cardstock, photo paper, or printer paper.
~Cut them out.
~My Photo Sizes are: Left: 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. Center: 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. Right: 1-3/8″ x 1-7/8″.
2-Cut Photo Mats:
~Measure your Photos.
~Add 1/4″ to the length and 1/4″ to the width measurements.
~Cut your Mats.
~I chose Coastal Cabana for my Mats since it closely matched the screen in the photo.
~Glue your photos to your Mats. Trim if necessary.
3-Stamp & Emboss:
~Take your Card Front and Emboss it with the Crosshatch pattern 3D Embossing Folder.
~Lay out your Photos on your Card Front and make sure the stamp you want will fit in the area left.
~Stamp your Words with Coastal Cabana ink on Basic White cardstock. Cut out with scissors.
4-Finish Your Card:
~Glue your Card Front to your Card Base.
~Lay out your photos and Words where you want them. Choose which you will Glue down and which will have Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~I left my Center Photo laying in place and slid the other two photos underneath after I put Glue on them.
~The Words and Center Photo were attached last with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
