This Raccoon Card is the first card I made when my first order from the NEW 2016-2017 Catalog arrived. It was fun and fairly easy to make. Have fun playing with this Foxy Friends stamp set! This card would be great for the nature lovers and men and boys.
SUPPLIES:
Bundle: Foxy Friends Photopolymer stamps + Fox Builder Punch #142326
Inks: Crumb Cake
Soft Suede
Chocolate Chip
Old Olive
Always Artichoke
Memento Black
Old Olive & Always Artichoke Markers
Card Stock: Thick Whisper White
Whisper White
A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack (6×6) #141637
Adhesive: Fast Fuse or SNAIL
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″.
2. Cut your Foxy Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Attach to card base.
3. Cut your Whisper White card stock at 3-5/8″ x 4-1/4″.
4. Stamp:
~Raccoon body in Crumb Cake
~Raccoon tail stripes in Soft Suede
~Raccoon eye patches and ears in Soft Suede
~Raccoon Face in Memento Black
~Tree stump in Chocolate Chip
~Leaf sprig in Old Olive
~Leaf Arch in Old Olive
~Tree in Old Olive and Always Artichoke. Both my ink pads and markers need to be reinked….. NOTE: Before stamping the Tree punch out the images using the Fox Builder Punch. Trim the Tail piece in about 1/8″ all around. Center the tail piece over the stamped tail and use the head piece to cover his back legs but put it in about 1/8″. This 1/8″ inset will make the tree stamp closer to the body so you won’t have to color in as much white space around the Raccoon tail and body.
~Use your Old Olive Marker to make little lines for grass.
5. Attach stamped piece to card base.
