I finally finished making my Father’s Day cards! This is a really different look and color scheme for me. I like it! I hope all my guys like it!

I used several different Embossing Folders depending on who is getting the card. The one shown is Argyle #127750 . I also used Chevron #127749, and Houndstooth #123134.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cutting
1. Card base – Very Vanilla Card Base at 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
Basic Black Layer 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Very Vanilla Layer 4″ x 5-1/4″
Striped Layer 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
Basic Black Strip 1″ x 5-1/2″
Very Vanilla scrap for stamping
Make the Card
2. Adhere your Basic Black Layer to the Card Base.
3. Use your Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp Happy Father’s Day or another sentiment on the Very Vanilla top section OR you can leave it blank.
4. Choose an embossing folder and emboss the Basic Black Strip using your Big Shot. Adhere to the top edge of the Striped Layer.
5. Stamp the desired images from Chalk Talk. Cut the one out with a Framelit. Punch out the Oval. Layer them with Dimensionals.
6. Adhere card front to card base. You just need to make the embellishment now.
7a. Smash your Bottle Cap. Open all the tabs on your Big Shot Multipurpose Platform. Add the bottom cutting plate. Add your Bottle Cap(s). Add your top cutting plate. Crank your Big Shot as Normal. Punch a 7/8″ Scallop Circle from a scrap of Basic Black card stock. Adhere in the center of your smashed Bottle Cap with Glue Dots. Adhere Bottle Cap to card with about 6 or so Glue Dots. Cover Bottle Cap center with Crystal Effects. Set aside to dry for several hours or over night.
7b. Current Product Option: Punch a 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle out of Silver Glimmer Paper. (You could also use the Red or Champange Glimmer Paper) Punch a 7/8″ Scallop Circle from Basic Black card stock. Adhere it to the Glimmer Paper with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhere the Scallop Circles to the card front with Glue Dots or Tombow Glue. Cover the Black Scallop Circle with Crystal Effects. Set aside and let dry for several hours.
8. Admire your manly Father’s Day card!
