Elegant Just a Note Lattice Card in Purples

I love this Elegant Just a Note Lattice Card in Purples made by my Grandson, Alex. The large lattice background with the Gorgeous Grape accents looks so elegant.

SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Simply Said Stamps
Ink Pad: Gorgeous Grape ink pad
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia cardstock
Highland Heather cardstock
Gorgeous Grape cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Flowers of Beauty Dies (also part of a Bundle and a Suite)
Punch: Labeled With Love Punch OR Labeled With Love Dies (Also part of a Die Bundle AND a Punch Bundle)
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
(optional) Adhesive Sheets

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:
~Fresh Freesia Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Highland Heather Lattice Strips: Cut Seven 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ strips

2-Lattice:
NOTE: Work over your Card Base or even better, grid paper.

~Lay your Strips out about 3/4″ apart.
~Weave your Strips so they alternate under and over the other strips they cross. Continue until they are all woven.
~Glue the Woven pieces together where they overlap when you can.
~Glue to your Card Base and Trim off the excess that hangs over the edge.

3-Word Label:
~Punch/Die Cut One Fresh Freesia and Two Gorgeous Grape Labels.
~Stamp your Words with Gorgeous Grape ink on your Fresh Freesia Label.
~Cut one Gorgeous Grape Label horizontally and one vertically.
~Hold them behind the Fresh Freesia Label to determine the size mat border you want.
~It does not really matter which direction you glue on first, just do both horizontal or both vertical first, then do the other one.

3-Finish Your Card:
~If desired, put an Adhesive Sheet on the Gorgeous Grape cardstock behind where you will cut out the plant. Use the Large Plant die to cut out your plant.
~Lay out your Plant and your Word Label where you want them.
~Glue on your Word Label.
~Attach your Plant with the Adhesive Sheet or Glue.

Your Elegant Just a Note Lattice Card is finished.
