This Elegant Butterfly in Blue Card uses the April 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit. The Butterfly on the card front was sponged to add some color to the card front.
SUPPLIES:
April 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Ink Pad: Lost Lagoon ink pad
Tool: Sponge Dauber
cardstock scrap at least 1-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
Adhesive: Tear & Tape (included in Kit)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Gather Your Kit Supplies:
~Bluish Butterfly Card Base
~Gold Foil Square
~Square with Butterfly
~Tear & Tape
2-Sponge Your Butterfly:
~Slide your cardstock scrap under one Butterfly Wing as close to the Butterfly body as you can get it.
~Ink up your Sponge Dauber with Lost Lagoon ink.
~Color the Butterfly Wing with your Sponge Dauber. Pounce the Dauber on the Wing to prevent bending ti delicate die cut. Use your cardstock scrap as a guide as to how close to the body you add ink.
~Repeat with the other wing.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Add Tear & Tape to the top and bottom backs of both your Gold Square and your Butterfly Square. Also add a piece of Tear & Tape behind your Butterfly body.
~Attach your Butterfly Square to your Gold Square, the add them to your Card Base.
Your Elegant Butterfly in Blue Card is finished.
