This Easter Bunny Egg Card was designed and made by my Grandson. The Bunnies are made with the Daisy Punch. The Egg is an Oval Stitched Shapes die. SUPPLIES:
Punch: Daisy #143713
Big Shot: Stitched Shapes Dies #152323
Cardstock: Whisper White
Blushing Bride
Call Me Clover
Stampin’ Write Markers: Basic Black #100082
Melon Mambo
Gorgeous Grape
Pool Party
Soft Seafoam
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Tool: Silicone Craft Sheet #127853 (to keep the Glue off your craft table!)
Paper Snips or Kid Safe scissors (depending on who is cutting)
INSTRUCTIONS:
*1. Bunnies:
~Punch out three Daisies from Whisper White cardstock. Lay your punch on the table with the Daisy Hole side up. Put your paper in the punch. Look at the paper to make sure what you are punching. Press down hard on the highest part of the punch until the Daily is punched out. Remove from the Punch.
~Turn the Daisy into a Bunny by cutting off all but two of the petals. If you want you can use part of a petal for the Bunny’s neck.
~Draw on the face with the Fine-Tip of the Basic Black Marker.
~Color the Ear insides with the Melon Mambo Marker
2. Egg:
~Use your Big Shot to cut out the Egg using the Oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies and Whisper White cardstock. Watch This Video if you need help cutting out a Die with the Big Shot.
~Color the stripes on the Egg using the Stampin’ Write Markers. You can use the colors he used OR choose your own colors.
~Cut a jagged edge where the egg cracked.
3. Grass:
~Cut your grass from Call Me Clover cardstock that is 5-1/2″ long.
4. Card Base & Finish Your Card:
~Cut your Blushing Bride card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch This Video if you need help making a card base.
~Glue your bunnies to the cracked part of the egg. Make sure that most of their faces are showing.
~Lay down the Grass along the bottom of your card front. Glue your Egg and Bunnies as far under the grass as you want.
~Glue on the Grass to the bottom of your card front.
~You can decorate the inside of the card if you want.
~Your Easter Bunny Egg Card is finished.
