My Daughter was married on Saturday! I am still out of town celebrating with my family. Here is the card I made for her and her new husband. It is in their wedding colors. HERE is the card that inspired me. As usual I made a lot of changes, but I like the results!
Card Stock:
(Color 1-Bride’s favorite) Green Galore (retired) 5-1/2″ x 2″, 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scrap
(Color 2-Groom’s favorite) ) Pacific Point 5-1/2″ x 2″, 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scrap
Whisper White cardbase 5-1/2″ x 11″
Whisper White-two 1″ x 4″ pieces
Adorning Accents Embossing Folders (Occasions Mini) #125601

Blue Painter’s tape or sticky notes to hold Edgelits in place
DIRECTIONS:
1. Double Z Fold. Prepare Whisper White card base. Score card base at: 1-1/2″, 3-1/2″ from each end. Fold as shown.
2a. Card base edge flaps. Place the Edgelit die so the center of the cutting edge is along the card stock edge. Make sure the ends of the die are evenly spaced from the cardstock edge. Hold in place with Blue Painter’s Tape that you have rubbed on your jeans a couple of times. Run through Big Shot. Repeat with other flap.
2b. Now use the Edgelit on the 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ pieces.
2c. Use the Adorning Accents embossing folder that coordinates with the Edgelit die. Emboss along both flaps on the card base and on the colored card stock. Adhere the embossed colored card stock under the flaps as shown.
3a. Punch out 1 Full Heart from each color. Emboss top Heart with Elegant Lines embossing folder. Emboss lower Heart with Houndstooth embossing folder.
3b. Use your Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit to cut out 1 Heart from each color. Adhere each Full Heart punch to the flat side of the Heart Embosslit of the opposite color. Slightly interlock Hearts as shown. Place Dimensionals on the back of each Heart on the side it will be attached to the flap. Adhere top Heart to left flap. Interlock lower Heart, close flaps, and press down to adhere Dimensionals in place on right flap.
4a. Center of Card. Emboss both 1″ x 4″ Whisper White card stock pieces with the Adorning Accents Heart Embossing folder. Adhere to top and bottom edges of the center of the card.
4b. Punch 5 Small Hearts from each color.
4c. Top embossed strip. Adhere Color 1 Heart to each edge of the top embossed Heart strip, then 1 to the center. Insert Color 2 Hearts in between Color 1 Hearts.
4d. Lower embossed strip. Adhere Color 2 Heart to each edge of the top embossed Heart strip, then 1 to the center. Insert Color 1 Hearts in between Color 2 Hearts.
5. Interlock Hearts to close card. Admire your work!
