I was in the mood for something different and came up with this Diagonal Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card. It only took me two tries! Have fun making this yourself!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut Your Papers:
~Highland Heather card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Highland Heather card layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Cut Your Diagonal Card Front Strips:
~I determined the angle by lining up two opposite corners at the two inch mark in the middle of my Paper Trimmer. This was not along the edge where we usually measure.
~Cut at 1″ increments. The first one is the scariest and determines the angle. Now you just line up the cut line with the 1″ mark. Next place the the strips in the order you cut them. This will help you can get them in the right order.
Attach to your Diagonal Strips to your Card Layer.
~Lay your Strips over your 4″ x 5-1/4″ Card Layer in the position you want them.
~Corner: Make the top corner even with the top and side edges of your Card Layer. Make sure you get your adhesive to completely cover the corners and edges.
NOTE: A Glue Dot or a drop of Tombow Glue can be added to hold the edges down.
~Attach the pieces working your way down leaving about 1/8″ between pieces. Line up the first three pieces with the with the left edge of your Card Layer.
~Either line up the next three pieces with the bottom or right edge. Some parts will hang over. Both edges of the corner will hang over.
~Trim off the excess parts hanging over with your favorite scissors.
~Now attach any necessary edges with a Glue Dot or Tombow Glue.
~Attach your Card Layer to your Card Base.
Label:
I used the Stamparatus for my stamping of the Words and the Fireworks.
NOTE:
The color bleeding effect of the Firework stamp was a happy accident.
NOTE: I forgot to dry off the stamp. It was laid on the Label. I got my ink pad. The image bled after I stamped it.
~Stamp your Firework with Flirty Flamingo ink.
~Stamp your words with Blackberry Bliss ink. You may have to stamp several times to get the color dark enough.
~Stamp your insects. I used the Stamparatus for these.
~Sponge the edges of your Label with Blackberry Bliss ink.
~Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach it to your card front.
Finish Your Card.
Stamp the little Firework with Blackberry Bliss ink over your diagonal card front pieces.
You have finished your Diagonal Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card.
