I have been in the mood for flowers lately so I decided to use my Daisy #2 die. This is another quick and easy card. I also tested out the envelope instructions that come with the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. Another quick and easy thing to make. And to think I thought making envelopes was difficult. Not so with the new Diagonal Plate.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2. Emboss Framed Tulips on Daffodil Delight card stock. Trim around raised frame line. Adhere to card front with SNAIL.
3. Use the Daisy #2 die and your Big Shot and die cut the Daisies twice. If you position them right you can cut out both from a half sheet of card stock.
4. Take the 2 largest Daisies and off-set the petals so they are evenly spaced. Adhere with a small bit of SNAIL or mini glue dots in the center by the hole. Fluff up petals with fingers. Repeat with the medium and small daisies. Adhere them all together, centering from the back by looking inside the holes. Thread the ribbon through the button holes and tie a knot. Adhere to center of Daisy with 2-3 mini glue dots.
5. Stamp the desired image in Daffodil Delight. Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy. (I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me get it in the desired position.) Punch out with Decorative Label punch.
6. Lay out Daisy and Four Frames Label in desired positions. Adhere Label with Dimensionals. Adhere Daisy with SNAIL or mini glue dots.
7. Admire your bright Spring card!
ENVELOPE DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut Daffodil Delight card stock in a 7-3/4″ square.
2. Place Diagonal Plate onto Simply Scored Tool with arrow facing upper ruler. (I colored the top of the upper left corner of the Diagonal Plate with a Sharpie where it touches the corner so I won’t have to keep looking on the back for the arrow.)
3. Now the fun begins! Place your 7-3/4″ square card stock in the upper left corner of the Diagonal Plate. Score at 4-1/2″ on the side ruler and then the top ruler. You will be making 2 separate score lines that are evenly spaced diagonally.
4. Turn your card stock 1/4 turn (either direction is fine). Now score at 3-1/8″ along the side ruler then the top ruler. You now have four scored lines which form a rectangle in the center.
5. You will see 4 small triangles where the score lines cross. Remove these small triangles with either scissors or a square punch. Fold all score lines. You can trim the one flap that sticks up in the center of the card if desired. You can also use a corner rounder punch on the top flap. Adhere the center flap with either Sticky Strip or Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
6. Stamp as desired. I used the Mixed Bunch stamp to go with the Daisy on my card.
7. Insert card after you have filled out the inside and signed it and inserted any other items such as cash or a gift card if desired. Seal envelope shut with SNAIL or Tombow making sure to leave the straight portion at the top of the flap free of adhesive so they can slide in a letter opener or knife and get the card back out.
Happy Stamping!
