Here is a Cute Gift Bag from Paper Pumpkin

Here is a Cute Gift Bag from Paper Pumpkin using the September 2023 Kit. It took me a bit to figure out how to do it. Follow the instructions below.

SUPPLIES:

From the Kit:
~Bag-it will be flat
~Banner
~Stamps
~Large printed Leaves stem
~Large Gold Leaves stem
~Tear & Tape
Other Supplies used:
Bone Folder
Starry Sky ink pad
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Make Your Bag:
~Crease all the Bag’s Score lines with your Bone Folder.
~It is easier if your first crease the Side Pleat lines (that are supposed to go in) out first, the you can easily fold them in to form the pleats.
~Add Tear & Tape to the bottom flaps as shown in the directions.
~Square Up your Bag. Attach the flaps together to form the Bag bottom.
~Use your Bone Folder to rub inside the bottom of the bag to make sure your Tear & Tape sticks well.

2-Banner:
~Stamp your Words on your Banner with Starry Sky ink.

3-Leaves Stems:
NOTE: The Leaves stems will hold the top flap in place.

~Pinch your Bag closed and fold the top flap over.
~Place your Leaves Stems behind your Banner and determine how wide you want them to be. Notice how mine are placed.
~Glue the Front Leaves Stem to the center of the back of your Banner.
~Hold it in place for a long bit. This will help it stay secure and in place.
~Repeat with the Back Leaves Stem. The thin Gold Stem requires extra care and holding time.

4-Finish Your Bag:
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your Banner making sure that one is over the Leaves Stems.
~Add a Stampin’ Dimensional up from the Banner about 1/2″ onto the Printed Leaves Stem over at one side. This extra Stampin’ Dimensional hold the Leaves Stem closer to the bag flap. This will help it stay closed better.
~Attach your Banner about 1″ below the lowest point of your Bag’s Front flap.
~Try opening your Bag and closing the Flap again. Now is a good time to put something fun inside.
