Deborah made this Colorful Leaves & Layers Alternate Paper Pumpkin Card using the September 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit. You will recognize two of the Layers from my Monday’s Pumpkin Post.
SUPPLIES:
September 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Ink Pads: Mango Melody
Pumpkin Pie
Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade
Kraft 6×6 Paper Pack #156325
Brushed Metallic 12×12 cardstock #153524
Embellishments: Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots #156506
Tools: Blending Brushes #153611
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Poppy Parade Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″
~Kraft Card Layer: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
~Brushed Gold Strip: 5/8″ x 4-3/4″
2-Cut Your Box Pieces into Strips:
~Choose the four patterns you want.
~Cut each pattern into a 7/8″ x 2-7/8″ strip.
~Place your Strips evenly spaced on your Kraft Card L:ayer.
~Attach your Card Layer to your Card Base.
3-Leaves:
~Punch out two Leaves.
~Turn Leaves to the White side.
~Use Blending Brushes to brush on Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, and Poppy Parade inks.
~Stamp Leaf Veins with Pumpkin Pie ink.
4-Finish Your Card:
~Stamp your Words on the White Tag with Soft Succulent ink.
~Curl Wrapped Wire around a Pencil. Spread it apart so it lays mostly flat.
~Thread your Tag onto the curled wire.
~Lay out your Gold Strip, Wire, Leaves, and Tag where you want them.
Attach:
~Gold Strip: Either Glue Dots or Tombow Glue. The ends are not attached. They just hang over the other layers.
~Leaves: Glue Dots on the part that is flat on the card.
~Tag: Stampin’ Dimensionals
~Wire: Tombow Glue. Hold in place for a few minutes so it will stay stuck.
~Add some Brushed Metallic Dots for bling.
