This Celebrate With Stars & Herringbone Card is for my grandson’s baptism. He is eight and will love the colors and texture.
SUPPLIES:
Ink Pad: Shy Shamrock ink pad
Cardstock: Shy Shamrock cardstock
Crushed Curry cardstock
Basic White cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Modern Herringbone 3D Embossing Folder
Wanted to Say Dies
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Adhesive Sheets (recommended)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Shy Shamrock Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Shy Shamrock Card Front: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
~Basic White Card Insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″
2-Word:
~Drag your Shy Shamrock ink pad over a scrap of Shy Shamrock cardstock large enough so your Word Die will fit on it.
~Put a piece of Adhesive Sheet on the back of the above Shy Shamrock cardstock.
~Cut out your thin word using the Die.
~Use the Outline Die and cut it from Basic White cardstock.
~Carefully attach your thin word to your Basic White die cut being careful not to stretch the letters.
3-Cut & Emboss & Finish Your Card:
~Emboss your Card Front with the Herringbone Embossing Folder.
~Glue your Embossed Card Front to your Card Base.
~Die cut five sets of Stars from Crushed Curry cardstock.
~Lay your Word and Stars on your Card Front where you want them.
~Glue everything on.
~Attach your Card Insert inside your Card.
Your Celebrate With Stars & Herringbone Card is finished.
