My daughter’s and son-in-law’s anniversary was on St. Patrick’s Day and this is the card I made for them. Most of it is quick and easy except for the Heart drying time. Enjoy tweaking this one for someone special. You could use any punched or die cut shape instead of the hearts.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Daffodil Delight card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Night of Navy card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Stamp your sentiment in Silver ink. Let dry for a few seconds. Run through your Big Shot with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder. 3. Punch your Hearts from the Silver and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Lay on the card front in the position you want. Now punch your small stars from Daffodil Delight card stock. Put a dot of Tombow Glue on an embossed Night of Navy Star and glue your punched star on top of an embossed star. Do this until you have as many stars as you want above your hearts. 4. Now lay your sparkly Hearts on the Silicone Craft Sheet. Cover each Heart with Crystal Effects. Let dry for 4-5 hours or overnight. (You can just use the Hearts without the Crystal Effects if you want.) 5. After your Crystal Effects has dried on your Hearts, trim any overhanging Crystal Effects from around the edges of your Hearts with Paper Snips. Glue onto your card. 6. Stamp your sentiment in Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Cut out with the Itty Bitty Banners Framelit. Color the edges with your Daffodil Delight Marker. Attach to Hearts with Glue Dots. 7. If you want to add some excitement to the envelope you can use the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder on the envelope flap. Watch this Video to show you how to do this.
This is the Wedding Card I made for my Church Choir Buddy and her new DH who were married on Friday. This card was my inspiration. I tried several other ideas but this is the card that got finished. I may use some of the other parts soon as her sister is getting married in less than 3 weeks.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Real Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video if you want more details on Basic Card Bases. 2. Cut your Whisper White layer at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run through your Big Shot with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. Trim the sides close to the Hearts with your Paper Trimmer. Attach to card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Make your Real Red Envelope with your Envelope Punch Board. Cut your Real Red card stock at 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ square. Make your first Punch and Score at 2″. Watch this video if you need help using your Envelope Punch Board. 4. I used the retired Expressions Thinlit for the word “Love”, but it is retired. You can use either the Signo White Gel Pen or the Chalk Marker to write “Love” on the envelope. You can also use a stamp you like or just leave it blank. 5. Let’s die cut a couple of Heart Frames with our Framelits. The large one is from Whisper White and is used to mount the Glimmer Hearts to. I chose the largest straight-edged Heart Framelits. Use this sandwich: Magnetic Platform (or Multipurpose Platform with all tabs closed), a cutting plate, your Whisper White card stock. Lay both the Heart Framelits with the smaller inside the larger making sure there is an even space in between. The space in between will be your Heart Frame. 6. Now choose the Framelits for the smaller Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper Heart. I used the second and third smallest. Use the same process as above and cut out this Heart Frame. Use your Real Red Marker to color the edges so it will show up against the Whisper White background. 7. Punch 10 Silver Glimmer Hearts and 10 Red Glimmer Paper Hearts using the Itty Bitty Accents Heart Punch. Arrange the hearts around the Whisper White Heart Frame in the desired positions. Attach each Glimmer Heart to the Frame with a Glue Dot. Overlap the two Hearts that meet in the center. 8. Now to put everything together. Slide the large Heart Frame in the Real Red envelope to determine the position on the card front and where to add the Glue Dots to hold it in the envelope. Put a Glue Dot at the bottom tip and one along each side of this Heart to secure it in the envelope. I used Tombow Glue on the back of the envelope and the back of the Heart Frame that showed from behind to secure it to the card front. Now attach your Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Heart inside the large Heart. 9. If desired, you can add a piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White to the inside to write on. You can either add a couple of Punched Glimmer Hearts, or some stamped Hearts to the lower corners. Then write you message to the Bride and Groom. 10. Gift Wrapping Hint. If you give them two gifts of different sizes (such as a board game and a DVD OR Project Life Album and Pocket Pages with a Project Life Card Collection with the accessory pack inside the box), wrap the gifts separately. Then use Sticky Strip to attach the gifts together. This way they will stay in place even if you don’t tie ribbon around them.
We made this You Plus Me Valentine card at a women’s meeting at Church. The ladies (and a couple of daughters) had a lot of fun. Most of their cards turned out a little differently than mine, but they had fun and the cards were cute. I should have remembered to take a picture of some of their cards.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Real Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut a piece of 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Cherry Cobbler out with your Big Shot and the Top Note Die. Now run your Top Note die cut through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts embossing folder. Attach your embossed die cut to your card base. You can use either Tombow or Dimensionals. 3. Stamp your desired images on Whisper White card stock with Real Red ink. Punch out the You + Me with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. Punch out the Be Mine with the Large Oval Punch. Also punch out a Whisper White 2-1/2″ Circle. Punch out a little Heart from the Silver Glimmer Paper. 4. Lay all pieces on your card front in the desired positions. Attach with either Tombow Glue or Dimensionals. 5. Some variations I saw: stamp some of the hearts around the “Be Mine” so there is not a lot of white showing, same idea for the large white circle. Add more Glimmer Hearts. Have fun with this stamp set and card!
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Elegant Eggplant card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video for more information on card bases. 2. Cut your Wisteria Wonder card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Center the card stock edge in your Scallop Edge Border Punch. Punch each edge starting in the center, then doing the left and right sides. 3. Cut out “Happy” from Elegant Eggplant card stock. Watch this video if you need detailed instructions. My preference is now to use Parchment Paper instead of Wax Paper, but both work. 4. Position your “Happy” where you want it. DO NOT attach it yet!!! Choose one of the stamps that starts with “SO”. Color it with your Elegant Eggplant Marker and stamp it above the “Happy”. Now you can stamp the “Together” and “Happy Anniversary” in Elegant Eggplant Ink over on the right hand side underneath “Happy”. You can now attach “Happy” using Tombow Glue. 5. Punch two hearts from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Use your Elegant Eggplant Marker to color around the edges of both Hearts. Attach the bottom Heart with Fast Fuse and the top Heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 6. Attach your completed card front to your card base with Fast Fuse adhesive. 7. Time to celebrate with the Happy Couple!
Do you like giving little treats or gifts to others? The Tiny Treat Boxes are the perfect size for a small treat or gift such as earrings or other small jewelry. They can easily be decorated for any occasion. These are decorated for Valentine’s Day or could be used for an Anniversary. They would also make great Party Favor Boxes.
I made this card for my son and his wife’s anniversary. Clear embossing powder and a heat tool were used to prevent the silver ink from smearing and add an interesting look to the embossed card stock..
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Lost Lagoon card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video if you need more instructions on making a basic card base. 2. Cut your Lost Lagoon card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run through your Big Shot with an embossing folder. Gently rub your Silver ink pad over the raised embossed parts. I found that a swirling, circular motion worked best for this pattern. Now cover with Clear Embossing Powder. Remove excess. Melt with your Heat Tool. Hopefully you get the interesting coloring effect that I did. Attach to your card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Choose the Silver Fancy Foil Vellum pattern you want. I used the Hearts. Cut it out using the Heart Framelit of your choice. I believe I used the 2nd largest. Just make sure it will fit on your card in the direction you want. Make sure the Hearts on the Vellum are facing toward the top of your Heart! Apply Glue Dots behind each Silver Heart and attach to your card front. 4. Stamp the desired sentiments on the Silver Foil card stock with the Black StazOn ink. Let dry for a minute or two, then punch out with your Word Window or other punch. Attach in the desired positions on your Vellum Heart with Dimensionals. 5. You can emboss the envelope flap with the same embossing folder you used for your card front. Watch this video for directions. 6. You now have a wonderful Anniversary card to help someone celebrate.
My Daughter’s and Son-in-law’s Anniversary was this past Sunday so, of course, here is the card I made for them using the Starburst Sayings and coordinating Framelits with a little touch of wood. I also make a similar Wedding Card recently.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Cut you Night of Navy card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video for more card base details. 2. Cut your Night of Navy card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot with the Polka Dot embossing folder. Color edges with Night of Navy ink pad if desired. (Watch this video for Edging Techniques.) Attach to card front with Tombow Glue. 3. Stamp “Oh Happy Day” in VersaMark ink on Whisper White card stock. Dump Cherry Cobbler embossing powder on it. Remove excess. Melt with Heat Tool. Stamp the two smaller Starbursts in Real Red ink on the Whisper White card stock. Cut out all your Starbursts with the coordinating Framelits. 4. Stamp you Happy Anniversay in Real Red ink on the Wood Banner . 5. Place all pieces in the desired positions on your card front. Attach Starburst pieces with Dimensionals and Wood piece with Glue Dots. 6. Sing the “Oh Happy Day” song while admiring this trendy card. (The version that goes through my mind is the one from the Sister Act movie.)
My niece is getting married so I made this wedding card for her. It is fairly simple, but elegant. All products used excpet the Full Heart Punch will be available in the NEW Catalog. Enjoy making wedding cards for your family and friends this year! You can change the card stock, ribbon, and ink colors to match their wedding colors.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Real Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch THIS VIDEO for more detailed instructions.
2. Cut your Silver Fancy Foil Vellum with your Big Shot using the largest Scallop Oval Framelit. Put a Glue Dot behind each silver heart. Adhere Vellum Oval to card front making sure the hearts are the correct direction. 🙂
3. Cut your Ribbons 7-8 inches long:
~One: Cherry Cobbler 3/4″ Chevron
~Two: Real Red 1/8″ Taffeta
~Two: Silver 1/8″ Ribbon
Hold them together while tying a loose knot. Position the narrow ribbons on the Knot if desired. Now position the narrow ribbons over the Chevron Ribbon if desired. If they don’t want to stay where you want them to just place a Glue Dot under the offending ribbon(s) near the knot.
4. Punch out or cut out (with the desired size Heart Framelit) the Silver Glimmer Paper Heart. Put Dimensionals on the back. Stamp sentiment on Whisper White card stock with Real Red ink. Punch out your sentiment with the Word Window Punch. Run the brush tip of your Real Red Marker around the edge of your punched out sentiment if desired. You can also do this around the Heart if desired. It does add a little extra definition. I didn’t do it on either this time. Adhere the sentiment to the Heart with half Dimensionals.
5. Lay your Ribbons and Heart in the desired positions. Attach the Heart with the Dimensionals you put on the back. Attach your Ribbons using 4-5 Glue Dots on the knot and next to the knot.
6. Admire your silvery Wedding Card before writing in it and sending it off to the lucky couple.
This elegant Gold Striped Fancy Foil Vellum card is quick and easy, but will impress your friends and family. This card could be made for any occasion depending on the sentiment: birthday, wedding, Anniversary, or just a Thinking of You card. There is also Silver Fancy Foil Vellum if the occasion calls for Silver or you prefer Silver.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Naturals White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Brushed Gold card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Adhere to card base. 3. Cut your Gold Fancy Foil Vellum and a piece of Whisper White card stock at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Put a Glue Dot along the edge of your Vellum under each Gold Stripe. (Note: SNAIL and other adhesives show through the clear part of the vellum.) Adhere to your Whisper White card stock. Adhere this piece to your card base. 4. Stamp your sentiment in VersaMark ink on Brushed Gold card stock. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder. Remove excess. Melt with Heat Tool. Trim card stock to 1″ x length of your sentiment. Hold your punch upside down, Slide one end in through the punch hole, center and punch. Repeat with the other end. Adhere with Dimensionals to your card front. 5. Place a Large Pearl at each corner of your card front. You can “dot your i” with a smaller Basic Pearl if desired. 6. Enjoy the Elegant Simplicity of this card.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Whisper White card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run through your Big Shot with the Honeycomb embossing folder. Adhere to card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Cut your Cherry Cobbler card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. You have a couple of options here.
Note: Look at the cutting edge side of your Thinlit. Notice that there are Honeycomb Hexagons that do NOT have the cutting edge around them. I ran mine through three times trying to get those to cut out. 🙂
~Option 1: (I used this one.) Cut out your Honeycomb Hive Thinlit. Sandwich: Magnetic OR Multipurpose Platform (all tabs closed), Cutting Plate, card stock, Wax Paper, Honeycomb Hive Thinlit, Cutting Plate.
~Option 2: (Considering using this one.) Cut out a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet. Peel off one side and stick it to your 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Cherry Cobbler card stock. Use the same sandwich as in Option 1 laying your card stock side up, adhesive side down. 4. Punch out the Hexagons. Save the rest for another project. I will be posting a project on Valentine’s Day that will use it. 5. Stamp “Love You More” and the arrows on a piece of 1-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ Whisper White card stock. Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock at 2″ x 3-3/4″. Layer the two together with Dimensionals. Decide where you want your label and some of the Hexagons you cut out. Adhere your label to the card front with Dimensionals. 6. Position your Hexagons as desired.
~Option 1: If you used Option 1 above you will need to use Tombow Glue to stick your Hexagons to your Honeycomb embossed card front.
~Option 2: If you used Option 2 above you will need to peel off the sticker back and adhere the Hexagons to your Honeycomb embossed card front. 7. Write a nice note inside before you give it to your Man.
Every Wednesday until Valentine’s Day there will be a Valentine Card for you. This one uses The Language of Love stamp set from the NEW Occasions 2014 Catalog. You could also use this card for a Wedding or Anniversary.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Real Red Core’dinations Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder. Sand the raised parts with your Sanding Block. Adhere to your card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Stamp your Heart Border in Real Red ink so the top of the Hearts are about 1/4″ from the edge of the card stock and the border is centered along each edge. Use your Paper Trimmer to trim around the outside edges about 1/8 to 1/4″ on each edge. Now use your Paper Trimmer to cut out the inside. Use the clear ruler to help you position cutting line. The White part of the Frame is about 5/8″ wide on my card. When your Frame is cut, use Tombow Glue to adhere it your your Core’dinations card stock making sure to leave an equal border around all the edges. 4. Cut the Hearts A Flutter Framelit Heart out of Silver Glimmer Paper. 5. Stamp the Language of Love Heart stamp in Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch it out with the Full Heart Punch. 6. Punch out two Real Red Hearts. Cut one in half lengthwise and the other in half width-wise. Put SNAIL adhesive on the back of the Whisper White stamped Heart. Now take the Real Red Heart top and adhere it to the back of your Whisper White Heart making a narrow (about 1/8″) mat. Now add the two Heart halves to the back, adding SNAIL to help hold them in place and also making about a 1/8″ mat around your Heart. Now add the bottom point of your Heart to the back adding SNAIL as necessary and leaving a 1/8″ mat. Trim if necessary. Use Dimensionals on the back of your Heart with a mat and adhere it to your Silver Glimmer Paper Heart. Use Dimensionals to adhere your layered Heart to the center front of your card inside the Frame. 7. Give to someone special to let them know you care!

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Rose Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Rose Red card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Take your Rose Red ink pad and lightly run it over your embossed card front just hard enough to color the raised dots. Also color the edges with your ink pad. Adhere to your card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Color your Flowerfull Heart stamp with your Rose Red and Garden Green Markers. Breathe on your stamp to remoisten the ink, then stamp on Whisper White card stock. Stamp Make a Wish from the Perfect Pennants stamp set in Rose Red Ink. Stamp the tiny hearts in Rose Red ink. (I actually stamped the tiny hearts after I die cut it.) 4. Cut your Flowerfull Heart out using the coordinating Heart Framelit. Cut your Make a Wish out using the coordinating Banner Framelit. (Now stamp in the tiny hearts if desired.) 5. Cut and adhere your Cherry Cobbler Ribbon in the desired position. I used SNAIL along the sides and then positioned it just below the middle of the card front. 6. Punch three Small Hearts out of Silver Glimmer Paper. 7. Arrange your die cuts and punches in the desired positions. Adhere the Make a Wish Banner and the Flowerfull Heart with Dimensionals. Adhere your Silver Glimmer Hearts with Tombow Glue or Glue Dots. 8. Admire your fun card!
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Cherry Cobbler card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Season of Style paper at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Adhere to card base. 3. Cut two pieces of Whisper White card stock at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run one through your Big Shot using the Fancy Fan embossing folder. Use Tombow Glue to adhere it to your card front. Adhere the other piece to the inside of your card to write your message on. The embossed envelope is covering up this piece because I had already written the message on it. 4. Cut the following with your Big Shot:
~”love” in Real Red card stock using the Expressions Thinlits Dies. (Here is a video to help you)
~Use the largest Apothecary Accents Framelit and cut out your Season of Style paper.
~Cut the two large hearts out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelit – one in Silver Glimmer Paper, the other in Red Glimmer Paper. Punch two small hearts out with the Small Heart Punch.
~For the Money Holder: layer one piece Whisper White card stock and one piece Season of Style paper and cut them out with the smallest Envelope Liner Framelit. 5. Put everything in the desired positions on the front of your card. Adhere the “love” with Tombow Glue. Adhere everything else with Dimensionals. I did use Tombow Glue where the hearts overlapped. 6. Trim the top flap off your Season of Style Envelope Liner. Adhere the bottom and sides to the Whisper White Envelope Liner. Adhere this to the inside top section of your card as shown. Insert money in the amount you choose. 7. Emboss your Envelope flap with the Stripes embossing folder. (Here is a video if you need help.) 8. Enjoy giving this fun card to someone!
I have a couple of family anniversaries coming up plus a couple of weddings and I wanted to use the “Love” Expressions Thinlit. I did two versions of the card with different colored layers. Which color combination do you like best?
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Basic Black card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Modern Medley DSP at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Adhere to card front with SNAIL. 3. Cut two Deco Label Framlits in the desired sizes and colors. I think I used the 2 medium sized ones. Set aside. 4.Steps 4 and 5 Video Link. Cut “Love” in the desired color. Gently poke the toothpick through the little holes in the flat side of the Thinlit. Your word should easily come out. If you have problems with it coming out use a piece of wax paper between the Thinlit and your card stock next time. 5. Hold your “Love” with a pair of tweezers. Spread a thin light layer of Tombow Glue on the back of your word. Make sure the Glue is a thin layer or it will squish out and make a mess. Hold your Gluey word above the smaller Deco Label and then gently lay in the desired position. If you mess up, turn the Label over and try again. 6. Layer your two Deco Labels together with Dimensionals. Adhere them to the card front with Dimensionals. 7. Write a Love Note inside using your White Stampin’ Chalk Marker. It works just like a Markder without any of the frustration a Gel Pen sometimes gives us. 8. Admire your “Love”ly Wedding or Anniversary Card. You can mail it in a Very Vanilla Envelope. I embossed the envelope flap with the new Beautifully Baroque embossing folder.
Tis the season for Weddings and I need a few Wedding and Anniversary cards. It has been a while since a made a White-on-White Card. This will be one of my swaps for Convention. I had a couple of friends over yesterday to help me make 50 of them. We got most of the parts completed, though I need to get a new Boho Blossoms Punch, more Ribbon and Pearls.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Round all four corners with the Corner Rounder Punch. 2. Cut your Whisper White card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Round all the corners with your Corner Rounder Punch. Run through your Big Shot using the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder. Adhere to your card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Cut your next layer of Whisper White card stock at 4″ x 5″. Cut the one end using your Big Shot at the desired Adorning Accents Edgelit. Use the coordinating Adorning Accents Embossing Folder and emboss about 1″ above the cut edge. This rounded edge will be the bottom. Round the upper two corners with your Corner Rounder Punch. 4. Now for the Flowers. Punch five sets of Boho Blossoms flowers from Whisper White card stock. Slightly bend the flower petals upwards on each flower as you use it. This will add some dimension to your project. Use Glue Dots to adhere a large flower to a medium flower. Repeat two more times. Punch two Itty Bitty flowers. Adhere each of these to another Medium flower. Lay flowers in desired positions with larger flowers at the ends and in the center and smaller flowers inbetween the larger flowers. 5. Stamp sentiment in Black StayzOn ink on the flower layer using your Stamp-a-ma-jig. 6. Cut your Ribbon about 6″ long. Position your Ribbon about 1/2″ below the top edge of your flower layer and adhere it with either SNAIL or Glue Dots. (Mine is about 3/4″ below.) Pinch the flat Ribbon in the center and adhere with a Glue Dot or two. Tie a Bow. Attach it to the center of your flat Ribbon using several Glue Dots on the back of the knot. You may also need to use Glue Dots to position the bow parts and the Ribbon Tails in the desired position. 7. You can finally adhere the Flower Layer to the embossed card front with Dimensionals. 8. Now add your Basic Pearls as desired. 9. Give this to a pair of Newly Wed’s or to a couple celebrating their Anniversary. I will make another and use it for both! Change the Sentiment and use it for a Birthday or other occasion.
A friend of mine is getting married so I made a Silver Wedding Card using the Beautifully Baroque Stamp Set and Embossing Folder to coordinate with the Silver Gift Wrap. I love the NEW Beautifully Baroque Stamp and Embossing folder. I also decided to try sanding the Brushed Silver card stock. It looks wonderful! I hope you enjoy making one for someone special.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut two pieces of Brushed Silver card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (card front) and 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (card base). 2. Emboss the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Brushed Silver card stock with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and your Big Shot. Choose which side of the embossed card stock you want on front and sand it with the Sanding Block. I found it worked best to use circular motions when sanding. Brush off all sanding debris. Adhere embossed card stock to card base. 3. Stamp the large Beautifully Baroque image in VersaMark on Whisper White card stock. Cover the VersaMark ink with Silver embossing powder. Melt with Heat Tool. Cut around embossed image with scissors. Put Dimensionals on the back. 4. Stamp the sentiment with Black StayzOn on Whisper White card stock. Cut out with the Apothecary Art Framelit. Put Dimensionals on the back. 5. Put the Baroque Image and the Sentiment in the desired positions. Remove Dimensional backings and adhere in place. 6. Add Basic Rhinestones as desired. 7. I added a 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White card stock piece inside to write on. 8. Admire your wonderful wedding card before giving to someone.
I made this card for my Daughter’s and her DH’s first Anniversary. This card would also probably look nice White on White with just a little color on the Butterflies. Give either one a try. I generally use my family members’ favorite colors when I make cards for them.
My DH and I are celebrating our Anniversary today. I will show you the Anniversary Card I made for my DH later this week. We are watching some movies this afternoon, going out to dinner and going to a Big Band Concert that also has singers and swing dancers. It will be a fun day! We will also be joining my Daughter and her husband for a play sometime this month.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut yourMidnight Muse card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Gumball Green card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. Adhere to card base. 3. Cut the Silver Glimmer Paper with the desired Heart Framelit. Adhere to card front with Dimensionals or SNAIL. 4. Stamp 1 large Butterfly in Midnight Muse ink. Stamp 1 more Butterfly in Garden Green ink. Let air dry for a few minutes or use your Heat Tool if you aren’t feeling very patient. I wasn’t patient and used my Heat Tool on High to dry my ink. 5. Color the back side of your Midnight Muse Butterfly with your Bashful Blue Marker. Color the back of your Garden Green Butterfly with your Certainly Celery Marker. Now you can punch out your Butterflies. 6. Cut strip of Bashful Blue card stock at 1/2″ OR 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ OR 6″. The card has been mailed so I don’t have the actual card to give you accurate measurements. Sorry I didn’t write them down. Stamp your sentiment using Garden Green ink. You can get the notches at the ends of the banner by either cutting the with scissors, using a square punch, or using the Hearts a Flutter Banner Framelit. Adhere with Dimensionals. 7. I wrote on the inside with a White Gel Pen. Make sure and let the ink air dry or dry it with your Heat Tool. I forgot on one of my Valentine’s cards and my grandson keeps asking his mother to read that side of the card too. 8. Admire your Anniversary Card and mail it off to the Happy Couple!
My oldest son and his wife just had their 9th Anniversary. Here is the card I made for them. If you don’t have the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper today is the last day to order it. I do love the seeing the contrast of the Glimmer Paper and the flocking!
I will be posting a “Love” card every Wednesday between now and Valentine’s Day that can be used as a Valentine’s Day card, Wedding card, or Anniversary card just by changing the sentiment. Yes, they will most likely have hearts on them unless I change a lot. I have always loved using Hearts!

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your card base from either Whisper White or Real Red card stock 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Red Glimmer paper at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Adhere to card front. 3. Cut your Silver Glimmer paper AND your Candlelight Christmas flocked window sheet at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Put several Glue Dots under the red flocking on the window sheet and adhere it to the Silver Glimmer Paper. Adhere this layer to the Red Glimmer paper card front with either Dimensionals or Tombow Glue. 4. Stamp the Scallop Heart image in Real Red ink. 5. Stamp “Happy Anniversary” or desired sentiment in Real Red ink on your Stamp-a-ma-jig. Spray your Happy Anniversary stamp with Stampin’ Mist and wipe clean with a Tissue or paper towel. (I had to redo my whole heart a couple of times because my “clean” stamp left faint letters where it was supposed to stay White! I guess I need to clean my Stampin’ Scrub again.) Position the word “Happy” that is on your Stamp-a-ma-jig clear sheet in the desired position on your stamped Heart. Color the word “Happy” on your stamp with the Cherry Cobbler marker. Stamp in desired position using your Stamp-a-ma-jig. Spray your stamp and wipe clean as before. Check on a scrap to make sure that no letters show up when stamped. Now position the word “Anniversary” that is on your Stamp-a-ma-jig sheet in the desired position underneath the word “Happy“. Color the word Anniversary with your Cherry Cobbler marker. Stamp in desired position using your Stamp-a-ma-jig. Whew! The hard part is finished! 6. Cut your Scallop Heart out using the coordinating Hearts a Flutter Framelit. Choose the desired size Heart Collection Framelit to go behind your Scallop Heart. Cut this Heart out of your Red Glimmer Paper. Adhere the Scallop Heart and the Red Glimmer Paper Heart with Dimensionals. Adhere to the card front with Dimensionals. 7. Admire your Sparkly Card before making someone’s day and giving it to them!
I am behind on Wedding Cards so I made up a bunch of these. You could use any color, but I was in a Real Red and White mood. These were fairly quick. I really enjoy the You Are Loved and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp sets. I cut out a lot of these Delicate Doilies. Just follow the tips below to get good results.

TIPS: 1. When cutting out Large Sizzlits use the newest cutting pads you have to get a good cut. I also put printer paper underneath the Sizzlit. Use a Stylus, Piercing Tool, or toothpick to poke the holes out after it is cut. Clean the Sizzlit with your Piercing Tool to remove paper that sticks in the Die. 2. Use the Large Scallop Edgelit and then the Delicate Designs Embossing folder. 3. You can also use the Delicate Designs Embossing folder on the envelope flap to get them excited to see what is in the envelope.
You can purchase all the supplies to make these Wedding cards atMy Online Store.
1. Cut the Heart out from both the regular Cherry Cobbler card stock and the Core’dinations card stock. The heart will hang out of the embossing folder. Run through once with just a little bit not getting embossed. Then line up and press the embossed parts into the embossing folder and run through again. Glue the hearts together AFTER embossing the Core’dinations Heart.
2. Attach Heart and Sentiment with Dimensionals.
3. This card will NOT fit in a medium envelope. I used one of the (retired) large square envelopes.
