Cut out your letters with the Little Letters Thinlits and your Big Shot.
~LOVE from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
~IYOU from Red Glimmer Paper 5. Glue your LOVE onto your Hearts. You might have to hold each letter in place for a bit until it starts to stick. I found a pair of Craft Tweezers very helpful to hold the Letter while putting the Tombow on and placing it on the Heart where I wanted it. Craft Tweezers stay closed until you pinch them open. 6. Lay out your LOVE Hearts and the rest of your letters where you want them on your card front. Glue the I YOU directly onto the card front. Attach the LOVE Hearts with Dimensionals.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. You can use either Real Red or Thick Whisper White for your card base. 2. Cut your Real Red card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Run it through your Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. Glue to your card base. 3. Stamp 3 Hearts of your choice and 4 sayings in Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock. Punch out the Hearts with the Sweetheart punch. Cut out the sayings. Put Dimensionals on the back of each piece. You will need to use half Dimensionals on the narrow pieces. 4. Arrange all the pieces on your card front. When you are happy with the placement remove the Dimensional backings from one piece at a time and attach it. Continue until all pieces are attached. 5. You can emboss the flap of the envelope if desired. Watch This Video to learn how.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Blushing Bride card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this Video for more information on making card bases. 2. Cut your Pink Pirouette card layer at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through the Big Shot with your Happy Heart Embossing Folder. Color the sides with either your Rose Red Ink Pad or Rose Red Marker. Glue to your card base. 3. Heart. Stamp the Flowered Heart with Wild Wasabi ink on Blushing Bride card stock. Cut out with your Paper Snips. 4. Lay your cut out Flowered Heart on top of your Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. Cut out a Glimmer Paper mat about 1/4″ larger than your Flowered Heart. Attach the two Hearts with Dimensionals. 5.Flowers. Stamp on Blushing Bride card stock:
~1 large Flower in Rose Red ink
~3 small Flowers in Rose Red ink
~2 small Flowers in Blushing Bride ink
~Cut out with coordinating Thinlits
~Add Dimensionals to the back of all Flowers and attach them to the Flowered Heart.
~Add Pearls to the center of each Flower. 6.My Valentine. Put the My Valentine and the long flower & vine stamps on a D Block.
~Color with the Rose Red Marker and the Wild Wasabi Marker. Remoisten by breathing on the colored stamp with your mouth wide open for several breaths. Stamp on Blushing Bride card stock.
~Cut out using the large Chalk Talk Framelit. Place your top cutting pad only on the part of the Framelit you want to cut. Run through your Big Shot. Now reverse the top cutting plate, lining up the cut lines with the inside of the Framelit until it is in the position you want. Again, only place the top cutting plate over the part that needs to be cut. Run through your Big Shot.
~Lay our cut out My Valentine on Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and cut out about 1/4″ larger on each side. Trim the corners last.
~Attach the card stock and Glimmer Paper together with Dimensionals.
~Add a small Pearl to the center of the Flower, as shown. 7. Lay out the Flowered Heart and the My Valentine in the positions you want them. Attach to card front with Dimensionals. 8. Punch three small Glimmer Paper Hearts with the Itty Bitty Accents Heart Punch. Attach to card front with Dimensionals on top of embossed Hearts. 9. You now have an elegant Valentine to give to your BFF or another favorite woman in your life.
I have really enjoyed using the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit and the coordinating stamp set, Bloomin’ Love. This detailed Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit is quick and easy when you use the Big Shot Die Brush and your Bone Folder.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Choose the green you want to cut with your Heart Thinlit. 2. Big Shot cutting sandwich: Magnetic OR Multipurpose Platform, Precision Base Plate, card stock, Thinlit with cutting side on card stock, FLAT cutting plate (this makes a huge difference!!). Run through your Big Shot at least once, twice if it didn’t cut all the way. If you can peel off around the Heart, then it cut all the way. If not, just stick down and run through again making sure everything is lined up properly. 3. Take your Thinlit and card stock and place them on the Big Shot Die Brush foam pad and firmly roll the Die Brush over the Heart Thinlit. You can run the Dir Brush over both sides if you need to. The goal is to get most of the excess card stock to separate from the rest of the card stock. When you get an edge so it peels up you can peel up the rest. If it is a little stubborn, you can slide your Bone Folder between the card stock and the Thinlit. This should separate the piece that you want from all the little pieces you don’t want. 4. Choose the ink color(s) for your Flowers. I used the solid ones from the stamp set. Pay attention to the little points on the stamps and put those so they face the same direction. These will help you line up the Flower Thinlits tabs so you can get the Thinlit lined up with the stamped image more quickly. You will need two large flowers and three small flowers. Stamp and cut out with your Big Shot. 5. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the flowers and on the back of the Heart in the flower area. Attach the Flowers to the Thinlit. 6. Cut your Designer Series Paper at 6″ x 12″. Make a Large Gift Bag. Watch This Video to show you how. Just make your score lines on the “L”. Punch holes on each line that is the side of the Back and Front. Skip the center pleat lines. Make sure and punch holes at both edges too. 7. Now attach your Heart Thinlit. You can hold a Clear E Block inside so you have a flat surface to press against while attaching your Heart. If you think ahead, you can do this when your bag is flat. The Bag Front has a pleated side on both sides. You score the Bag Back first. 8. Put in your treat or small gift now. 9. If you punched accurately, you can pinch your sides together and see all the way through the holes. This means you only have to thread your ribbon through holes on the left and then on the right (or reversed). If you are not so lucky, pinch the front half of the side together and thread the ribbon through, then the back half of the same side and thread the ribbon through. Repeat with the other side. 10. Pull your ribbon tight and tie a bow. Trim the ribbon ends. You can add a tag if you want. Your Bloon’ Heart Gift Bag is now ready to give to someone special.
I made this Valentine card for my family. It was fairly quick and easy to make multiples. I did vary the ribbon colors using Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and Cherry Cobbler 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon. I did get them ALL mailed yesterday!!
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Cherry Cobbler card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video for detailed instructions. 2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Cut a piece of Real Red card stock at 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Run through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts embossing folder making sure the Hearts will be going the direction you want them to. Glue to the end of your Whisper White card stock. Run this card stock through the Big Shot with your Top Note die with the side with the Real Red embossed piece touching the die. 3. Stamp your sentiments in Real Red ink. 4. Punch a Heart from Red Glimmer Paper and attach it with Dimensionals. 5. Tie the ribbon around the card over the Real Red Hearts. 6. Attach your Top Note die to your card base using Dimensionals. I used 9 whole Dimensionals in 3 rows: along both edges and down the center. 7. You might want to put a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White on the inside of your card to write on. Stamp if desired.
I was watching a video (which I cannot find now) and dreamed about making a Pirate that moved for my grandsons Valentines Day cards. It worked! I also decided to make a sliding Heart Valentine for my granddaughters. Hope you enjoy making these. If it is after Valentine’s Day you can choose any stamp you can cut out (punch out, die cut, or use scissors) to make it slide. The video is just over 20 minutes long.

We made this You Plus Me Valentine card at a women’s meeting at Church. The ladies (and a couple of daughters) had a lot of fun. Most of their cards turned out a little differently than mine, but they had fun and the cards were cute. I should have remembered to take a picture of some of their cards.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Real Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut a piece of 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Cherry Cobbler out with your Big Shot and the Top Note Die. Now run your Top Note die cut through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts embossing folder. Attach your embossed die cut to your card base. You can use either Tombow or Dimensionals. 3. Stamp your desired images on Whisper White card stock with Real Red ink. Punch out the You + Me with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. Punch out the Be Mine with the Large Oval Punch. Also punch out a Whisper White 2-1/2″ Circle. Punch out a little Heart from the Silver Glimmer Paper. 4. Lay all pieces on your card front in the desired positions. Attach with either Tombow Glue or Dimensionals. 5. Some variations I saw: stamp some of the hearts around the “Be Mine” so there is not a lot of white showing, same idea for the large white circle. Add more Glimmer Hearts. Have fun with this stamp set and card!
My friend, Karan, came over for a Paper Pumpkin Party and we worked on getting caught up making our Kits from the last couple of months. She was looking through the Occasions catalog and saw the Wood You Be Mine? Stamp set and loved the sample card so she made one and said I could put it on my blog. I will be making one for my son and perhaps a son-in-law for Valentine’s Day. I had better hurry since my son lives in Germany!
Sorry I don’t have any measurements or specific instructions as she made this card while I was working on my projects and we were having fun talking. 🙂 Stamp on Whisper White card stock with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Trim after stamping and coloring are finished to the size you want. Cut the DSP to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Attach to Whisper White or other color card base. Add your stamped layer. Add your Washi Tape. Tie a bow or knot with Baker’s Twine in your Gold Button and trim the ends. Attach to card with Glue Dots.
Do you like giving little treats or gifts to others? The Tiny Treat Boxes are the perfect size for a small treat or gift such as earrings or other small jewelry. They can easily be decorated for any occasion. These are decorated for Valentine’s Day or could be used for an Anniversary. They would also make great Party Favor Boxes.
I love this Pirate stamps which is perfect for boys! I bought it so my grandson could make Valentine’s cards for his school classmates. On the first card he made I asked why he didn’t color the picture. He said he wanted to let them have fun coloring. I enjoyed coloring the cute Pirate picture and so did the ladies at my Stamp Class. You can choose whether you color it or let the recipient color it.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Real Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 9-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Chocolate Chip bottom card layer at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Attach to your card base. 3. Cut your Cherry Cobbler card stock at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot using the Happy Hearts embossing folder. Attach to your Chocolate Chip layer. 4. Stamp your Pirate in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White card stock. Color as desired. Color Suggestions are in the Supply List above. Trim around the edges and measure the height and width. Add 1/4″ to the height and width when cutting your Chocolate Chip mat. Adhere the mat and stamped image together. 5. Cut out the “I heart you” from Whisper White using the Thinlit from the Label Card Thinlits. Punch out a heart from either Real Red or Cherry Cobbler card stock and put it inside the heart shape using a Dimensional. 6. Position the “I heart you” and your Pirate in the desired positions. Attach the Pirate with Fast Fuse or Tombow. Attach the “I heart you” with Tombow Glue. 7. You now have a card to give to a little boy or a Pirate lover for Valentine’s Day.
I held my Monthly Stamp Class yesterday. We had fun making these cards and decorating the Tiny Treat Boxes.

This fun new Hexagon Hive Thinlit is a fun background for this Valentine card. Use a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to turn your Hexagon Hive Thinlit or any die cut into a sticker! Video is at the bottom of this blog post.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut Your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. *2. Watch the Video below for this step. Cut your Cherry Cobbler card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Cut a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive sheet the same size. Peel off the words on the Adhesive Sheet and adhere it to your Cherry Cobbler card stock. Run though your Big Shot using this sandwich: Magnetic OR Multipurpose Platform (all tabs closed), cutting plate, card stock with adhesive side touching cutting plate, Wax Paper, Hexagon Hive Thinlit, and your top cutting plate. Poke out the hexagons that are cut. Not all of them will come out-they are not supposed to! Set aside the hexagon stickers for another project. Peel off the adhesive backing and adhere to your card front. 3. Stamp your Banner Blast Hearts in Real Red ink inside each full hexagon. Use your Stamp-a-ma-jig if you want them perfectly placed, or just try to stamp in the center like I did. 4. Stamp your “Love” and “When I thing of YOU I can’t STOP SMILING” sentiments in Real Red in on Whisper White card stock. Cut out the “SMILING” sentiment with the coordinating Chalk Talk Framelit. Hand cut your “Love” . Put Dimensionals on the back of both sentiments. 5. Cut your Silver Glimmer Paper Heart out with the desired size Heart Framelit. I used the third one from the center. Use your Small Heart Punch to punch out your Red Glimmer Paper Heart. Put Dimensionals on the back of both Hearts. 6. Position the “LOVE” and Small Red Glimmer Paper Heart on top of the Silver Glimmer Paper Heart. Adhere in the desired positions with the Dimensionals. Position your Silver Glimmer Paper Heart and your “Smiling” sentiment in the desired positions on your card front. Adhere. 7. You can use some of the Hexagon Stickers you made to decorate the corners inside your card and on the outside of your envelope. I have not yet tested to see how well they make it through the mail on the outside of an envelope.

Stamp with VersaMark onto your Real Red card front. Emboss with White Embossing Powder. Melt Embossing Powder using your Heat Tool. 4. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Rose Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Pink Pirouette card front at 3-3/4″ x 5″. Use the Heart Embossing Folder, lining it up with the top edge and then the bottom edge so you have a strip of hearts along the top and bottom. Adhere to card base with Tombow Glue. 3. Cut a piece os Rose Red card stock at 2″ x about 4-1/4″. Punch the top with the Scallop Tag Topper. Thread your Silver Baker’s Twine through the punched hole. I used 4 pieces of about 6″ long Silver Baker’s Twine. Thread from the front to the back and pull the ends through the loop you made in the back. 4. Cut a 1-5/8″ x 2-3/4″ Whisper White card stock for your stamping. Stamp the desired Crazy Mixed Up Love image in Rose Red ink. Punch the top with the Scallop Oval Punch by inserting only the top of your card stock through the punch from the outside. Trim the bottom if necessary. Place in the desired position on your Rose Red Tag and adhere with either Tombow Glue or SNAIL. Put Dimensionals on the back of the tag and adhere to your card front at an angle. 5. Punch two Rose Red Small Hearts and adhere them with a Dimensional in the desired position. 6. If you want a fancy envelope then you can use the same Heart Embossing Folder to emboss your envelope flap. 7. Admire your cute Valentine’s Day Card.

This is a fun Valentine card to make using the limited edition Flowerful Heart Stamp and the Fresh Prints patterned paper from the Occasions 2014 Catalog! The Stamp is only available until January 27th or while supplies last.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pink Pirouette card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Designer Series Paper into strips using your Paper Cutter. Make sure the leaf parts don’t show down the center of your cutting ruler before you cut. 3. Line up the Strips on your card front leaving spaces in between. No the spaces won’t be even because of the varied length of the strips. It doesn’t really matter. Adhere the Strips with SNAIL. Trim off the overhanging ends with scissors. 4. Stamp your Happy Valentine’s Day and Flowerfull Heart in Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock. 5. Cut out your Heart with the coordinating Heart Framelit. Cut the next larger Heart Framelit from Red Glimmer Paper. Layer the Hearts together with Dimensionals. 6. Punch out your Modern Label from Red Glimmer Paper. Now finally punch out your sentiment with the Word Window Punch. Adhere sentiment to Glimmer Paper with Tombow Glue. 7. Put Dimensionals on the back of the layered Hearts and the layered sentiment. Adhere in desired positions on card front. Add Basic Rhinestones to the center of the stamped flowers if desired. 8. Give to someone special for Valentine’s Day !
