iNSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Papers.
~Shaded Spruce card base at 5-1/2″ c 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Wood Pattern Nature’s Poem DSP cut at 4″ x 5-1/4″ 2. Die Cut using the Precision Base Plate using this Sandwich: Big Shot Platform, Precision Base Plate, cardstock, Wax Paper or Parchment Paper, Thinlit, top cutting plate. The Precision Base Plate takes the place of the Bottom cutting plate. From Shaded Spruce cardstock:
~1 long Pine Branch
~2 medium Pine Branches
~2 small Pine Branches From Copper Foil Sheet (1-1/2″ x 4″)
~Pine Cones: There are three Pine Cone Thinlits. You can choose only one, or choose a variety.
Sandwich: Big Shot Platform, Precision Base Plate, printer paper folded in half or quarters, Copper Foil Sheet, Wax Paper or Parchment Paper, Thinlit, top cutting plate. The Precision Base Plate takes the place of the Bottom cutting plate. NOTE: Use the Big Shot Die Brush to help remove the paper from the Thinlits. You can also use a toothpick, but it is really slow. 3. Arrange the Pine Branches on one corner of your Wood Pattern DSP. Attach with a thin line of Tombow Glue down the center of each Pine Branch. Each Pine Branch does NOT need to go all the way to the corner.
~Put the long Pine Branch down the center from the upper left corner.
~Put the two medium Pine Branches next to the long one at the edges of the DSP
~Put the two small Pine Branches in between the long and medium Pine Branches. 4. Now decide where you want your Pine Cones. Attach with thin scribbles of Tombow Glue. 5. Choose your sentiment and decide where you want it. Lay your card front on a piece of scratch paper. Stamp with VersaMark ink. Cover with Copper Embossing Powder. Put excess embossing powder back in the jar. Melt the embossing powder with your Heat Tool until the embossing powder is all shiny. 6. Attach your card front to your Shaded Spruce card base.
Your card is finished.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Shaded Spruce card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cur your Copper Foil Sheet at 4″ x 4″. Center the square Tropical Thinlit and cut out with your Big Shot.
NOTE: If you want to keep your Copper Foil Sheet shiny and smooth, use this Big Shot Sandwich:
~Big Shot Platform with Thin Die Adapter (Or Multipurpose Platform with all tabs closed)
~Bottom Cutting Plate
~Copper Foil Sheet shiny side up
~Printer Paper touching shiny side of Copper Foil and Thinlit
~Top Cutting Plate
If you want a distressed Copper Foil look, leave out the Printer Paper and use your “well-loved” cutting plates. 3. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your Copper Foil square. Cut some Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals in half and put behind the leaves in the die cut. 4. Rub the front of your card with your Embossing Buddy to prevent random specks of embossing powder on your project.
~Lay your card base on a piece of clean printer paper.
~Lay your Copper Foil square on your card front to help determine where to stamp your sentiment. I usually pay attention to the distance the bottom of the stamp is from the bottom of the card.
~Remove the Copper Foil square
~Stamp in VersaMark ink
~Dump Copper Embossing Powder over the stamped image area. Dump the Embossing Powder back into the container. Flick the back of your card front a couple of times to remove excess embossing powder.
~Melt the embossing powder with your Heat Tool until all the embossing powder is melted and shiny. 5. Remove the backing from all the Stampin’ Dimensionals and attach your Copper Foil square to your card front.
Your Card is finished.
I made this Tropical Happy Birthday Card for my DH. He is a wonderful guy. He will enjoy plants that require no watering or weeding. He can just look and enjoy. He has been especially great this year traveling to a Family Reunion over his birthday week.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Granny Apple Green card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Tropical Escape DSP at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Attach to card base. 3. Stamp your Happy Birthday in Shaded Spruce ink onto Granny Apple Green card stock. I personally just hand cut around the words with long-bladed scissors. If you want to cut the cardstock first the measurements are about 3/4″ x 3-1/4″.
~Then cut a mat around your sentiment. I just hand cut it. The measurements are about 1″ x 3-1/2″.
~Attach the layers together, then attach to your card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Your Card is finished.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Tranquil Tide card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Layered Tag. Watch This Video to get the basic idea of how to layer the tags. You will be adding one more layer.
~Punch your Tags: Three in Tranquil Tide cardstock, Two in Very Vanilla cardstock.
~One Tranquil Tide Punch will be on the top of the layers. Put SNAIL on the back.
~Take the Very Vanilla Tags. Cut one in half lengthwise and the other in half width-wise. Take a piece with the top point and attach it to the Tranquil Tide tag with SNAIL on the back trying to get the Very Vanilla to show evenly along the top of the Tranquil Tide Tag. Repeat on the bottom side. Attach more SNAIL to the back of the base tag. Now attach a Very Vanilla end piece using your fingers to line up the sides. Repeat with the other end piece tag. You now have two layers.
~Repeat the Tag Layering process with the last two Trangil Tide Tags. Cut one in half lengthwise and the other in half width-wise. Put SNAIL on the back of the layered Tag. Attach the pointed part to the top and bottom., then the end parts. Wahoo! Your basic Tag is layered!
~Stamp Wishing You a Dapper Day on Very Vanilla cardstock in Tranquil Tide ink. Cut apart as shown. Attach to the Layered Tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. 3. Measure your Layered Tag to see if you need to adjust this measurement: Cut your Very Vanilla rectangle at 2-1/4″ x 3″. You will use this to mount your layered tag on. Attach your Layered Tag. 4. Cut your DSP at 4″ x 5-1/4.. Lay your Layered Tag and Burlap Ribbon on top. Attach your Tag. Cut your Burlap about 4-1/2″ long. Run SNAIL along both sides of the back of the Burlap. Attach to DSP. Trim excess. Attach DSP to card front.
Your Card is finished.
We made this fun Magical Day Castle Card at Stamp Class this month. It was a favorite with everyone. It is easy, but takes some time to put together. Thank goodness for matching Thinlits to cut things out!
~Sahara Sand card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Sahara Sand card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
~Old Olive grass at 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ 2. Big Shot:
~Stamp your sentiment in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock. Cut your sentiment out with the coordinating Framelit.
~Cut out the shapes from Whisper White cardstock and a contrasting color cardstock (place them on top of each other and cut at the same time) for the Dragon, Knight, Mermaid, and flame. That’s right, do not stamp them yet. 3.Stamp & Die Cut Technique-Watch the Video:
~Place your White die cuts in the shapes of the contrasting color cardstock shapes. The contrasting color cardstock makes it easier to see exactly where you need to stamp.
~Get out your Stamp-a-ma-jig. Stamp an image in each corner using the T-Handle and the imaging sheet. Make sure and use Memento ink or Classic ink. Archival or permanent ink will ruin your Imaging Sheet.
~Get out the stamp you want and ink it with Memento ink. Line up the imaging sheet stamp with the cardstock shape. Remove imaging sheet and stamp. Repeat with the other die cuts. 4. You can either leave the die cuts in the contrasting cardstock or remove them for coloring. Put a sheet or two of paper underneath to protect your work surface from bleeding colors. Color with Blends Markers. Shade as desired by coloring some of the Dark Marker along one side, then color with the light Marker over the whole area until no line shows. Dragon
-Chest & neck-Old Olive Light
-Chest scales-Old Olive Dark
~Head-two coats of Old Olive Light (watch out and don’t color the eye like I did)
-Leg, hands, wing-Night of Navy Light
~Scales on back, tail, leg-Night of Navy Dark Knight
~Armor, Helmet, Sword
-Use Smoky Slate Dark to color along the left side of the armor parts.
-Now color the armor parts with Smoky Slate Light swirling the Marker over the Dark part until it is blended in.
–Use Old Olive and Night of Navy Markers.
-Use Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Markers Flame: Use Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Markers Princess/Mermaid
~Cut off the tail where it starts to curve up.
~Hair-I colored alternate strands with the Daffodil Delight Dark, then blended and finished coloring with the Daffodil Delight Light.
~I added the top and sleeves to her ‘dress’ with Rich Razzleberry Light.
~Pink Pirouette was used for the rest of the ‘dress’.
The coloring is done! 5. Brick Wall
~Get your Brick Wall embossing folder. Find the side where the brick dividers are raised (poke up). Rub your Crumb Cake ink pad over the top of all those lines that poke up. Let the ink pad also lightly cover parts of the ‘bricks’ so they will look more realistic and distressed.
~Put your Sahara Sand card front on the uninked side of the embossing folder and line it up how you want it. Close the folder, holding the paper in place. Now run through your Big Shot. Open up and see your distressed bricks! 6. Putting it all together.
~Glue your sentiment to Basic Black cardstock and cut out a mat for it.
~Look at your Brick card front and decide which will be the top and bottom.
~Glue your Old Olive grass to the bottom.
~Lay your Princess on the Black Label. Cut off the Princess and the window where desired. Now glue on your Princess since the pesky tail is gone.
~Lay out all your pieces and decide where you want them.
~Glue on the Dragon, Knight, Flame, and Princess in the window.
~Attach your sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Now glue your card front onto your card base.
Whew! Your card is finished!

This would be a great Valentine Card for your favorite guy! Most guys (and some gals) love wood and nature. So make this card with the fun Wood paper and this stamp set with a Tree stump. You can replace the retired (oops!) Jute Twine with the 1/4″ Copper Trim or Linen Thread.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″.
NOTE: I just did this all on the card base. When you use Blends to color, the color will bleed though your cardstock. SO either color with your card base open OR if you do not want the bleed through to show, cut a Whisper White card front at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. Do everything to the card front, then attach it to the card base. Instructions are for just the card base with no additional card front. My son thought the bleed through was an additional feature of the card. 2. Cut your Wood Textures DSP at 2″ x 6″ with the pattern you want on your card. Attach to your card base with Fast Fuse. Trim excess from top and bottom. 3. Stamp your Tree Stump in Early Espresso ink overlapping your Wood paper. Lay your card base open and flat on a piece of scratch paper. Color the Tree stump around the bottom edges and left side and the bottom of the oval at the top with the Crumb Cake Dark Blends Marker. Color the rest of the Tree Stump with the Crumb Cake Blends Marker blending the darker Crumb Cake. Now color some grass with the Old Olive Blends Markers. I then used the Thin tip of the Crumb Cake Dark Blends to color the tree trunk next to the grass. 4. Stamp Forever at an angle in Real Red ink. Stamp two of the Heart Confetti also in Real Red ink. 5. Place 4 Glue Dots along the border of the Wood paper. Attach your Jute Twine or Linen Thread. Use SNAIL on the back of the Copper Trim to attach it to the card base. Trim excess.
Your Card is Finished. 6. Envelope: You can stamp the round wood stamp on your envelope. Use regular Stampin’ Write Markers to color it if desired.
~You could also emboss the flap with the Pine Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder. Watch this Video to learn how.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Dapper Denim card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Fold and score at 4-1/4″. 2. Ink up your Dapper Day stamp with Dapper Denim ink. Wipe off the mustache. Color the mustache with your Basic Black Marker. Remoisten your ink by opening your mouth wide and huffing onto your inked stamp 5-6 times. Stamp on Whisper White. Punch out with the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch. Sponge around the edges with Dapper Denim ink. 3. Place your card base on scratch paper. Stamp the “Wishing you a Dapper Day” in Memento Black ink as many times as will fit diagonally on the card front. 4. Measure your Ribbon at 5-1/2″. Put SNAIL or Fast Fuse on the back. Attach to your card front 1-1/2″ from the bottom. Trim off the end even with the cardstock. 5. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your punched circle and attach to your card front. 6. Put Glue Dots on the back of several leaves of your wood element. Attach next to your punched circle.
Your card is finished!

~Tie a bow from the copper Trim, if desired, and attach it to the Oval die cut. An option for a man is to attach a strip of ribbon along the top of the Designer Series Paper instead of tying a bow, OR leave off the ribbon completely. My guys don’t seem to mind the Copper Trim as it looks borwnish and metallic.
~Attach the Oval sentiment to the Snowflake with the Stampin’ Dimensionals. Now put Glue Dots on the back of the Snowflak behind the Oval die cut. Attach to card front. Trim ribbon ends if necessary.
~Attach card front to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used 9 Stampin’ Dimensionals: 3 across the top, center, and bottom.

INSTRUCTIONS: Watch This Video for Basic Baker’s Box instructions. 1. Cut your Baker’s Box Thinlit twice from Crumb Cake card stock cut at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Fold all score lines so each piece looks the same.
~You can stamp the Hardwood image in Chocolate Chip ink either before you cut out your Baker’s Box pieces or after you have cut it out. I did it after, but it would probably be easier if you stamped before you cut them out.
~Before. Ink up your Hardwood stamp and lay Rubber side up. Lay your card stock on top of the inked stamp. Use a Clear Stamp Block and rub it over all the card stock to transfer the ink. Remove card stock. Repeat with the second piece.
~After: Fold the side score lines and do one side at a time. Lay one folded side of your cut Baker’s Box piece on top of the inked stamp, as above and rub with a Clear Stamp Block. Repeat for the other side and the other cut piece. 2. Add your Tear & Tape to the side tabs and the bottom flaps.
~~Side Flaps (smaller): With the outside facing up, put Tear & Tape on the outside edge and the bottom on both pieces.
~~Front and Back Flaps (larger with V in the center. I leave this part flat):
~~~Front: Put Tear & Tape on the INSIDE of both sides of the V.
~~~Back: Put Tear & Tape on the OUTSIDE of both sides of the V. 3. Cut:
~Cut two Pine Cones from Chocolate Chip card stock. Angle the two Pine Cones together the way you want and attach them together with Glue Dots. Tie a bow with the Gold Baker’s Twine.
~Cut 2 small Pine Branches and 1 Medium Pine Branch from Garden Green card stock. 4. Assemble your Box: Attach the side Tabs. Now for the bottom flaps: sides first, then the Back Flap, and the Front Flap is last. 5. Decorate:
~Choose the front of your Box. Attach the Medium Pine Branch about 1″ above the center score line on the box front with a Glue Dot. Attach the other two Pine Branches on top of the first one with Glue Dots. Attach the Pine Cones with 2-3 Glue Dots on top of where the Pine Branches meet.
~Tie closed with Gold Ribbon.
Have fun making your own Fall Pine Branches Box. Come back Friday for a Christmas Version.
