This Rose Wonder card is quick and easy and is made on the card base with no extra layers. A customer commented that most cards today involve very little stamping, lots of layers with die cuts or punches. So I am accepting the challenge to make at least one card a week that involves more stamping and less layers. The Grateful Bunch Collage Card was the first, this is the second single layer card. Have fun! SUPPLIES: Stamps:Rose Wonder Photopolymer #140697 (Bundle with Rose Garden Thinlits #140804) Ink: Melon Mambo
Pink Pirouette Marker Card Stock: Pink Pirouette Other:Stampin’ Pierce Mat #126199 so you get a great stamped image with your Photopolymer stamps.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pink Pirouette card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Ink up your large Rose with Melon Mambo ink and with your card base on the Stampin’ Pierce Mat, stamp your Rose. 3. Stamp your Frame and the Happy Birthday in Melon Mambo ink on your card base. 4. Use your Pink Pirouette Marker to color on the outside of the Rose Petal lines as shown. 5. Ta-Da!! You are done!! Experiment with different colors of card stock and ink and with different stamps.

Baby Wipe or wet paper towel to remove some of the ink from embossing folder
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Rose Red card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Put your card front inside the Polka Dot embossing folder folding the card back under the embossing folder. Run through your Big Shot. 2. Stamp your four Flowers with Rose Red ink using the Rose Wonder Flower that coordinates with the Thinlit. I did use the Precision Base Plate with my Big Shot to cut these flowers out. Cut all four flowers out using your Big Shot and the coordinating Thinlit. 3. Choose the words you want on your card, then choose the Fun Frame embossing folder that your words fit in. Stamp your words in Cherry Cobbler ink on Rose Red card stock making sure you have enough room for your Fun Frame. You can see my choices. Feel on the inside of your embossing folder for the side where the images sink down to leave indents (not being raised above the plastic). Take your Cherry Cobbler ink pad and run it over your embossing folder on the side where the images sink down. Make sure all the flat parts which include the dots and the inner frame lines and outer frame lines are covered with ink. If you are like me, you will have ink covering most of the inside of the Frame where you want to stamp your image. Take a baby wipe or wet paper towel or tissue and wipe away the ink from places you don’t want it. Remoisten the ink on the embossing folder by opening your mouth wide and breathing on it. Now insert your Rose Red card stock into the embossing folder so the stamped words are positioned in the Fun Frame where you want them and run through your Big Shot. Run your embossing folder under running water to clean. Cut out your Fun Frame using Paper Snips or scissors. 4. Lay out your Flowers and Frame. Decide where your Glitter Tape will go remembering that Stampin’ Dimensionals do not stick to the Glitter Tape. Attach your Glitter Tape to your card front. Attach your Flowers with 2 Glue Dots under the center small circles. Attach your Fun Frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Put dots of Dazzling Details on each of the flower center circles. Set aside to dry. 5. You can use the Flower stamp to decorate your envelope OR you can emboss the envelope flap. Watch this Video to learn how to emboss the envelope flap.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pool Party card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Score and Fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Prepare your pieces:
~Stamp the Balloon filler design you want on the Tempting Turquoise card stock in Pacific Point ink. Cut out with your Big Shot and the Balloon Framelit.
~Stamp your words in Pacific Point ink on Pool Party card stock. Cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelit. Color the edge with the Pacific Point Marker.
~Stamp your small balloons on Tempting Turquoise card stock with Pacific Point ink. Punch out with small Balloon Punch. Add to your words with Dimensionals. 3. Cut your Pool Party card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Lay your large Balloon and your words layer in the position you want. Now cut out a large Balloon with the Balloon Framelit so it is off to one side as shown. 4. Assemble:
~Your large Balloon will use Dimensionals to attach to the card front. The part that hangs over the Balloon cut out will need a stack of two Dimensionals so it will be flat inside of sinking into the Balloon cut out.
~Attach your word layer with Dimensionals. 5. Stamp small balloons on your envelope so the receiver will get excited just seeing the envelope!

There are several sayings to go with the Hello along with the party hat, smiley face, and sunshine you can use. Enjoy making this quick and easy card for someone special. SUPPLIES: Stamps: Hello Wood #141240 Clear #141243 (available until February 15th) Ink: Island Indigo Card Stock: Marina Mist
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Marina Mist card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Stamp Hello and the selected saying you want in the center of the card. Stamp either the party hat, smiley face, sunshine or a combination around the Hello. 3. Stamp some of the little pictures on your envelope flap.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pink Pirouette card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Pink Pirouette card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run the edges across your Rose Red ink pad. Watch This Video for card stock edging techniques. 3. Stamp “Happy Birthday” and “Make a Wish” in Rose Red ink. 4. Stamp two balloons in Elegant Eggplant ink on each side of the Make a Wish. 5. Draw three strings for each set of balloons. 6. Punch out two Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper Balloons. Attach with a Dimensional to card front in between each set of balloons. 7. Attach your completed card front to the card base. 8. Stamp Balloons on the envelope if desired.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Pacific Point card base at 4-1/4″ x 11″. SCORE and Fold at 5-1/2″. 2. Cut your Whisper White card center at 4″ x 10-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 5-1/4″. 3a. Now pull out your Big Shot. These pieces both cut better if you use the Precision Base Plate and a flat top cutting pad. You will notice both Thinlits have triangle-like points on the top and bottom in the center. You are to align these up with the fold line to get the Pop-Up in the center.
~Choose which one will be flat on the front and which will be the Pop-Up on the inside of your card. 3b. Now that you have decided which Thinlit to use flat on your card front, and to Pop-Up inside your card, you can cut. Look for a video demonstrating this on Friday, January 15, 2016. Flat
~Take note that the sides of the Hip Hip Hooray only make a score line on the sides. If you want it flat on the card front, just cut along the score lines on each side.
~The 3 thin lines on the sides of the Happy Birthday also have score lines at the end of the Thinlit. If you want the Happy Birthday to lay flat, just cut off the thin lines next to the letters on each side. You can color The candles, letters, and cake stand with Markers if you want.
~Use the Big Shot Die Brush to help you get out all the small parts quickly. You can also run your Bone Folder between the card stock and Thinlit to help finish getting the pieces out.
~You can save the curly pieces from the Hip Hip Hooray Thinlit to glue onto the front of your card using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I didn’t think of it until I had thrown my pieces away. Pop-Up
Place your card stock and Thinlit on your Precision Base Plate. Line up the Triangle Points on the top and bottom of the Thinlit with the fold line on the Whisper White 4″ x 1-1/2″ card inside. Center it on the top and bottom with the Triangle points still on the fold line. The top point on the Happy Birthday is between two candles. Once everything is lined up and centered the way you want it, put on the top cutting plate and run through your Big Shot. Once through usually does it with my Big Shots. 4. Fold the inside of your card in half. Now push the Pop-Up in the opposite direction so it will stick out from the center when opened. Fold your card inside flat and rub with your Bone Folder so all the folds are well creased in the direction you want them. 5a. Now it is time to attach the card inside to the card base. With your card inside still folded in half, put SNAIL on the side that will be attached to your card base. DO NOT put ANY adhesive on the part you want to Pop-Up!!!! This is also why we are using SNAIL instead of Tombow. 5b. Put your folded card inside fold line along the card base fold line, making sure the card inside is centered along the top and bottom of the card base. Rub to attach the SNAIL. 5c. Now lay your card base flat. Put your Bond Folder under the Pop-Up and attach the other half of your card inside flat to your card base. Fold your card in half with your Pop-Up still pointing out and flatten it out well with your Bone Folder. This will get rid of any lumps or bulges that may have formed under the adhesive. 6. Stamp or write on the inside if desired. 7. Attach your Flat cut out to the Front. Attach the curly pieces too if you want. You now have a fun Pop-Up Birthday Card!
Do you have some smaller gifts to give this year? Make your OWN small Gift Bag in just a few minutes using the Gift Bag Punch Board, some adhesive, and some ribbon or Baker’s Twine! It takes less time to make your OWN Gift Bag than to watch this video!!
This video is 12 minutes long.
SUPPLIES: Gift Bag Punch Board #135862
Card Stock or Paper cut at 10″ long for a Small bag, 11″ long for a Medium Bag, and 12″ long for a Large Bag. Cut the paper 1-1/4″ taller than you want the finished Bag height to be. For example: a 6″ tall piece of paper will make a Bag about 4-3/4″ high.
Adhesive: Fast Fuse OR Tear & Tape Ribbon or Baker’s Twine if desired
TIPS: 1. Score along the 10″, 11″ or 12″ side of the paper at 1-1/4″ with either your Gift Bag Punch Board or other scoring device. 2. Remember to Punch first, then Score.
~a. Start at the Start Line. Punch then score at the S, M, OR L line depending on the length of your paper. 10″ long=Small. 11″ long=Medium. 12″ long=Large. This will be the Back of your Gift Bag.
~b. Move your Score Line to the Start Line. Punch. Now score the side of your bag: Left side of Triangle, line down the Center of Triangle, Right side of Triangle, then the Side Line. These 4 Score lines make the side of the Bag with the Pleat.
~c. Move the Side Score Line (the furthest to the Right) to the Start Line. Punch. Now score the S, M, OR L line to form the Front of your Bag.
~d. Repeat Step 2b to make another Side and form the Tab for the adhesive. Trim off the the flap part of the Tab. Check the diagram on the Punch Board to made sure your project looks the same. 3. Place adhesive on edge of Bottom Flaps: Front facing up: both Sides and Back flaps and side Tab. Turn over so the inside is facing up and put adhesive on the Front flap. Fold in the sides first, then the Back, then the Front. Use your Scoring Tool to press down the adhesive. 4. Optional Ribbon Holes. Punch the end, then each side of the Front and Back. DO NOT punch the center lines of the Sides.

Stamp a Real Red party hat on both Dinosaur heads. 6. Cut around the top of the Dinosaurs. 7. Stamp your sentiments in Memento Black ink. Use your Basic Black Marker to draw Word Bubbles around the sentiments. Pay attention to which way you want the small part to point. Cut these out with your scissors. 8. Use your Fringe Scissors to cut down to the Tear & Tape. 9. Decide where you want everything. Attach the Dinosaurs and sentiments with Tombow Glue. Attach the Grass with the Tear & Tape. 10. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Watermelon Wonder card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. (I would use either Bermuda Bay or Pool Party for the Birthday Boy.) 2. Cut your Balloon print paper at 2″ wide. Make sure your print is going the correct direction. Put the bottom into the Banner Triple Punch to cut the notch off the bottom. Wasn’t that fun and easy! Sponge around the edges with Watermelon Wonder ink if desired. Attach with Fast Fuse or SNAIL. 3. Stamp the cupcake liner with Tip Top Taupe ink on Whisper White card stock. Stamp your “Cloud/Frosting” in Watermelon Wonder ink on top of the cupcake liner on the Whisper White card stock AND on some Watermelon Wonder card stock. Punch out the Watermelon Wonder card stock Frosting. 4. Color the candle with the Watermelon Wonder marker and the flame with the Delightful Dijon marker. Remoisten and stamp so the candle only sticks above the frosting about 1/2″. Punch out the whole cupcake with the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch. If your candle is too tall you can use an Oval Framelit. Now sponge around the edge with Watermelon Wonder ink. 5. Finish the cupcake by coloring the cupcake liner with the Delightful Dijon marker. Layer on the Watermelon Wonder Frosting with Dimensionals. Tie a Baker’s Twine bow and attach with a Glue Dot or Tombow Glue. Put Dimensionals on the back of the Circle and position on the card front. 6. Your card is now ready to give to the Birthday Girl or Boy.
This card uses the Celebrate Today Photopolymer Bundle with the Balloon Framelits and the Happy Birthday words. I also used the Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper. Have fun making this card to give the next birthday girl or guy!
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Bermuda Bay card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your diagonal striped Designer Series Paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Sponge around the edges with Bermuda Bay ink. Attach to card base with Fast Fuse adhesive. 3. Cut two balloons from the confetti print with gold flecks using your Big Shot and the Balloon Framelit. Now cut a balloon from Island Indigo card stock using the Balloon Framelit. Sponge around all the balloons with Bermuda Bay ink. 4. Choose the Happy and Birthday stamps and place them on the same clear block. Make sure they fit inside your Island Indigo Balloon. Stamp in Island Indigo ink. 5. Put Dimensionals on the back of all three balloons. Double stack the Dimensionals on the top and bottom of the Island Indigo balloon leaving just one Dimensional on each side. This will make the center balloon stand out some from the other balloons. 6. Put a Glue Dot on the string end of each balloon and place some Gold Baker’s Twine on the Glue Dot. Now attach your balloons to the card front leaving the ends of the Baker’s Twine loose for now. 7. Trim the ends of the Baker’s Twine now. These ended at the bottom of the diagonal striped layer. Gently roll a Glue Dot and attach to the bottom end of each piece of Baker’s Twine and attach to the bottom of your card. 8. Your birthday card is now ready to give to that special someone.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Night of Navy card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and Fold at 4-1/4″. Watch this video for more card base details. 2. Cut your Starbursts from Daffodil Delight card stock. I used the 2nd largest and the smallest. Edge your smallest Starburst with your Real Red Marker. Watch this Video for more details on Edging Techniques. 3. Lay the largest Starburst in the desired position. Rub your Embossing Buddy over the area you will stamp and include the surrounding areas. Stamp your sentiment (Happy Birthday) in VersaMark ink. Remove your Starburst and cover stamped sentiment with the Crushed Curry Embossing Powder. Remove excess including giving the back a couple of flicks with your fingers to get off the extra little specks. Now melt the Embossing Powder with your Heat Tool. Watch this Video if you need help with Heat Embossing. 4. Cut our your desired letters. Here is the “Sandwich”: Megnetic OR Multipurpose Platform (all tabs closed), cutting plate, card stock, Parchment OR Wax Paper, Letter Thinlits, top cutting plate. I use a larger piece of Parchment Paper and put all the letters I need on top of it. Might as well conserve our crafting energy by running through as much as possible at one time through our Big Shot. Run through a second time if you need more than 1 of a letter. Watch this Video if you need help using Thinlits. 5. Now to put the letters on the Starburst. Lay out both words in the desired positions. Now take the center letter of the top word, put a thin line of Tombow on the back and glue it in place. This letter will help you place all the other letters so they look even. Now glue the letter next to it and continue until you finish the top word. Work from the center letter out in one direction leaving a small space between letters and making sure they are straight up and down (in this case). I usually finish the end of the word, then go and work back to the beginning of the word. So I glued down the “P” as my center letter, then the “E”, then the “R”. Then I did the “U”, and finished up with the “S”. 6. Find the center letter(s) of the bottom word. In my case there are two center letters. Use the middle letter of the top word and mentally draw a line straight down the center of the Starburst. Place your letters either on top of this mentally drawn line if you have one center letter OR on each side of this invisible line if you have two center letters. Glue down the rest of the letters working out from the center letters. I did the “I” and “J” as my center letters, then the “A”, and “H”, then moved to the “L”, then finished with the “E”. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want a video on this. 7. I added the center Starburst as my grandson is now in the “Sunbeam” class at Church. He is really excited to be a Sunbeam and in with the bigger kids instead of the Nursery. 8. I put a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Daffodil Delight in the center of the card so he could read my writing.
