Would you like a Snowflake Embossed card front? Now you can by using the Blizzard Thinlit and the Big Shot Embossing Mats. It is pretty easy if you follow these instructions. The look you get is amazing!
BIG SHOT SANDWICH: 1. Big Shot Platform with Thin Die Adapter REMOVED (OR Multipurpose Platform with 1-2 tabs open) 2. White Impressions Mat (Thick white mat from Embossing Mats kit) 3. Gray Silicone Mat (from Embossing Mats kit) If you want lightly embossed Snowflakes you can try using the Blue Silicone Mat 4. Cardstock 5. Die with cutting edge on cardstock 6. Normal Top Cutting Pad
The reason they call it a sandwich is because it is assembled like a sandwich.
The Big Shot Platform is the Plate.
The White Impressions Mat and Cutting Pad are the bread slices.
The Silicon Mat, Cardstock, and die are the meat, cheese, and lettuce. Sorry, no condiments included on this sandwich. 😉

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Call Me Clover card base at 501/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Granny Apple Green card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through the Big Shot with the Corrugated embossing folder. Attach to card base with Tombow Glue. I laid two E Stamp Blocks on top to help the glue attach the Corrugated card front to the card base. It just was not staying down by itself. I was not patient enough to hold it down with my hands. 3. Stamp your sentiment on Lemon Lime Twist cardstock with Call Me Clover ink. Cut it out with an Oval Stitched Shape Framelit. 4. Cut out the largest Stitched Labels Framelit from Call Me Clover cardstock. 5. Layer the sentiment and the Label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach to card front with Tombow Glue. Again, lay the blocks over the top for a few minutes.
Your Card is finished.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Shaded Spruce card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cur your Copper Foil Sheet at 4″ x 4″. Center the square Tropical Thinlit and cut out with your Big Shot.
NOTE: If you want to keep your Copper Foil Sheet shiny and smooth, use this Big Shot Sandwich:
~Big Shot Platform with Thin Die Adapter (Or Multipurpose Platform with all tabs closed)
~Bottom Cutting Plate
~Copper Foil Sheet shiny side up
~Printer Paper touching shiny side of Copper Foil and Thinlit
~Top Cutting Plate
If you want a distressed Copper Foil look, leave out the Printer Paper and use your “well-loved” cutting plates. 3. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of your Copper Foil square. Cut some Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals in half and put behind the leaves in the die cut. 4. Rub the front of your card with your Embossing Buddy to prevent random specks of embossing powder on your project.
~Lay your card base on a piece of clean printer paper.
~Lay your Copper Foil square on your card front to help determine where to stamp your sentiment. I usually pay attention to the distance the bottom of the stamp is from the bottom of the card.
~Remove the Copper Foil square
~Stamp in VersaMark ink
~Dump Copper Embossing Powder over the stamped image area. Dump the Embossing Powder back into the container. Flick the back of your card front a couple of times to remove excess embossing powder.
~Melt the embossing powder with your Heat Tool until all the embossing powder is melted and shiny. 5. Remove the backing from all the Stampin’ Dimensionals and attach your Copper Foil square to your card front.
Your Card is finished.
~Blushing Bride card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Designer Series Paper (DSP) at 3-1/2″ 4-3/4″
~Shaded Spruce mat at 3-3/4″ x 5″
~Granny Apple Green mat at 4″ x 5-1/4″.
Attach to card base in the order shown. 2. Stamp and Punch:
~Stamp your Happy Birthday in Shaded Spruce ink on Granny Apple Green cardstock. I hand cut around the sentiment. Here are the measurements if you want them: 5/8″ x 1-5/8″. It is hard for me to cut this small of a piece in my Paper Trimmer.
~Punch one Shaded Spruce Tailored Tag.
~Punch two Blushing Bride Tailored Tags. Cut one lengthwise and one widthwise. Put SNAIL on the back of your Shaded Spruce Tage. Attach the lengthwise Blushing Bride pieces to the back of the Shaded Spruce Tage trying to get them both the same distance from the Shaded Spruce edge. Add more SNAIL to the back of your layered punch. Now do the same with the widthwise pieces trying to keep the edges even with the lengthwise pieces. Attach to your card front. 3.Ribbon. Measure two ribbon pieces about 4-1/4″ of Leaf Ribbon. Put Glue Dots on one of the leaves at each end, and 1-2 more Glue Dots on leaves in between the ends. Attach at an angle to your card front with some leaves overlapping your tag. Repeat with the other Leaf Ribbon.
Your Card is finished.

I made this Tropical Happy Birthday Card for my DH. He is a wonderful guy. He will enjoy plants that require no watering or weeding. He can just look and enjoy. He has been especially great this year traveling to a Family Reunion over his birthday week.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Granny Apple Green card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Tropical Escape DSP at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Attach to card base. 3. Stamp your Happy Birthday in Shaded Spruce ink onto Granny Apple Green card stock. I personally just hand cut around the words with long-bladed scissors. If you want to cut the cardstock first the measurements are about 3/4″ x 3-1/4″.
~Then cut a mat around your sentiment. I just hand cut it. The measurements are about 1″ x 3-1/2″.
~Attach the layers together, then attach to your card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Your Card is finished.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Petal Pink card base at 5-1/2″ c 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Stamp flowers in VersaMark ink on front of card base. They will darken in a few minutes. 3. Stamp your sentiment on Highland Heather cardstock in Memento Black ink. Ct out with a Scallop Square Framelit. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back. 4. Cut the Gorgeous Grape triangle from cardstock cut at 2-1/8″ x 5-1/2″. Mark the center (2-3/4″) on one side. I made a 1/2″ score line. You could also use a pen or pencil. Now cut from this center point to the opposite corner. I used my paper trimmer. Now cut from the center point to the other corner to finish your triangle. Attach to your card base. 5. Stamp Happy Birthday in VersaMark ink on your Gorgeous Grape Triangle. Cover with White Embossing Powder. Remove excess. Melt with Heat Tool. 6. Attach your Scallop Square sentiment.

This Sparkly Unicorn Birthday Card is for my granddaughter’s birthday on Monday. It is made using lots of retiring items, some of which are now unavailable. But due to my brain not working today I will just post the picture. It is a simple card to make and most little girls will love it. It is made with the Magical Day Bundle and the Sunshine and Rainbows Bundle. I did the coloring with Blends Markers. If you need more details, please Email Me and tell me the title and date of this post.
So have some fun dancing like a Unicorn in the Sparkly clouds while crafting today!
We made this Flower & Vellum Card at Stamp Class on Friday. I am so sad this Remarkable You stamp set is retiring. It is one of my favorites to use for a variety of techniques. This time it is just colored with markers. This would also be a nice Mother’s Day card. Just change the sentiment.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Rich Razzleberry card base at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”. Score and fold at 4-1/4”. 2. Cut your Vellum at 4” x 5-1/4”. Run through your Big Shot-(Big Shot Platform-remove Thin Die Adapter (Multipurpose Platform with Tab 1 Open), Dynamic Embossing Folder, Cutting Plate. Yes, only use ONE cutting plate. 3. Attach to your card base with Glue Dots at each corner. 4. Stamp your flower using Memento ink. Color with Markers. Cut out with Circle Framelit. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back. 5. Stamp your sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink. Punch out with the Classic Label Punch. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals (or Mini Dimensionals) to the back. 6. Lay out your flower and sentiment where you want them. Attach.
Your card is finished
Here is the card my DIL made at class. She colored around the edges with a Marker, then used an Aqua Painter to soften the Marker lines.

This Let the Good Times Roll Roller Coaster card is pretty easy to make, but does take a little time. Just follow the video instructions to make the Pop-Up Roller Coaster card inside. Directions for the card front are below.
CARD INSIDE BASICS: 1.Cut:
~Thick Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Pool Party card inside at 5″ x 8″. Score and fold at 4″. 2. Follow the rest of the directions from the video.
CARD FRONT INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Cut:
~Thick Whisper White card base as mentioned above.
~Bermuda Bay card layer at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
~Whisper White card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.
~Bermuda Bay Roller Coaster and fussy cut as shown on video
~Whisper White-die cut any of the pieces you want to add to your scene. I would recommend at least two sets of the cars (4 cars). Stamp as shown in the video. 2. Stamp:
~Bermuda Bay Roller Coaster
~Real Red cards
~Real Red Food Cart
~Island Indigo Balloons
~Memento Black sentiment
~Memento Black Balloon Strings 3. Attach stamped card front to Bermuda Bay card layer. Open your card and position correctly so you place the card front layers on the actual card front. Now attach your card front to your card base.
Your card is finished. I really enjoy opening the card and watching the Roller Coaster Pop-Up! Try it a few times yourself!
This Balloon Birthday card was made for my 4 year-old granddaughter’s birthday. It was quick and easy. I stamped and wrote directly on the Balloon paper. I added a few Enamel Shapes and it was done. She loved it!
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut :
~your Berry Burst card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″
~your Balloon paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″ making sure to keep in the Balloon colors you want. 2. Stamp Happy Birthday in Bermuda Bay ink on one of the light colored Balloons. Write in an age and name with your Marker if desired. 3. Attach your Balloon paper to your card base. I used Tombow Glue because she is only four and LOVES to carry around her card for a long time. 4. Attach a variety of Enamel Shapes amongst the Balloons. 5. If desired, include a Clear Envelope to preserve the card being carried around a lot.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Thick Very Vanilla card base at 5-12″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your patterned paper at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot with the Sweethear embossing folder. Use the coordinating Sweet & Sassy Heart Framelit to cut out the center heart. While at your Big Shot, cut out the Celebrate from Elegant Eggplant cardstock. Glue onto the bottom of the DSP. 3. Cut a Window Sheet at 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. Attach to the back of your DSP Heart cut out with SNAIL around all four sides. 4. Attach Foam Adhesive Strips on the DSP back about 1/8″ from the edge of the Heart cut out. Make sure there are NO gaps in the Foam Adhesive Strip otherwise the Gold Flakes will escape and get everywhere! Also put the Foam Adhesive Strips around the edge of the card.
NOTE: If you do not want the Gold Glitter Flakes to stick to the inside of the Foam Adhesive Strips, either run your fingers along the adhesive sides or run your Embossing Buddy along the sides to remove the sticky there. I personally like the Gold around the Heart edges so I didn’t do this. 5. Lay your DSP on your card base to determine where to put your pile of Gold Glitter Flakes. Remove the DSP. Put your Gold Glitter Flakes on the card base in the center of where the Heart will cover. Remove the Adhesive backing and put on your card base. Press firmly. Now you can “test” out to see if the Shaker Card works. 🙂
Your card is finished. 6. Envelope options: Use the Embossing folder on the envelope flap.
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base ar 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. SCORE and fold at 4-1/4″. 2. Cut your Perfect Plum card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″. Run through your Big Shot with the Petal Burst embossing folder. Glue to your card base. 3. Stamp all three pandas on Whisper White cardstock leaving plenty of room to punch them out with the Starburst Punch. You might need to stamp each image more than once, so use the Stamp-a-ma-jig so you can get the perfect stamped images. Punch out each panda separately with the Starburst Punch. Stamp the confetti in Perfect Plum ink as desired around the pandas. 4. Stamp Happy Birthday twice in either Perfect Plum or Elegant Eggplant ink on Whisper White cardstock. Punch out both sentiments with the Classic Label Punch. Put three Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of each Classic Label. 5. Punch three 2-1/4″ Elegant Eggplant circles. Glue the Panda Starbursts onto the Elegant Eggplant circles. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Elegant Eggplant circles. 6. Punch a Balloon out of Wisteria Wonder cardstock. Color it with the Rich Razzleberry Blends Markers. I did the Dark against the left side, the Light over the rest, and made the “shine” by removing the color with the Color Lifter. 7. Lay out your circles, balloon, and Happy Birthdays in the desired positions. Attach the Circles and Happy Birthdays with the Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Balloon. 8. Tie a bow from the Baker’s Twine. Attach it to the bottom of the balloon with either a Glue Dot or a small dot of Tombow Glue.
Your card is finished. 9. Envelope Options:
~Emboss the envelope flap with the embossing folder
~Stamp either a panda or Happy Birthday onto the envelope flap.
This Sketch Challenge Card uses the Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper along with some Glimmer Paper. Change the look by using different patterned paper, ribbon instead of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, and another shape instead of the squares for your sentiment. Post your creation on my Facebook Page under the Sketch #13 Thread starting tomorrow afternoon.
~Pool Party card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″
~DSP at 2″ x 5-1/2″. Attach to card base next to the fold line.
~Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper at 3/4″ x 5-1/2″. Attach slightly overlapping the bottom of the DSP. 2.Stamp your sentiment in Island Indigo ink on Whisper White cardstock. ~Lay out the Snowflake and Oval Birthday on your card front to determine the position you want them in.
~Tie a bow from the copper Trim, if desired, and attach it to the Oval die cut. An option for a man is to attach a strip of ribbon along the top of the Designer Series Paper instead of tying a bow, OR leave off the ribbon completely. My guys don’t seem to mind the Copper Trim as it looks borwnish and metallic.
~Attach the Oval sentiment to the Snowflake with the Stampin’ Dimensionals. Now put Glue Dots on the back of the Snowflak behind the Oval die cut. Attach to card front. Trim ribbon ends if necessary.
~Attach card front to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used 9 Stampin’ Dimensionals: 3 across the top, center, and bottom.

TIP: Put both words on the same block so you only have to stamp once. 4. Stamp the solid flower in Flirty Flamingo ink three times. Optional Envelope: Stamp any of the images on your envelope front and/or flap.

~Window Sheet at 3-3/4″ x 5″
~Flirty Flamingo Window Frame: Put both Framelits on the card stock on your Big Shot Platform. Make sure the card stock showing between them is even. Cut.
~Stamp your Ice Cream with Flirty Flamingo ink on Whisper White card stock with the solid Ice Cream stamps. Stamp the Ice Cream layers with Watermelon Wonder ink on the solid Ice Cream piece. Cut out with the coordinating Ice Cream Framelit.

~Stamp Happiest Birthday or other words in Watermelon Wonder ink on a Whisper White card stock strip. Punch the end with the Banner Triple Punch. 4. Assemble Card Front.
~Glue the Flirty Flamingo Frame around the Window on your patterned paper using Tombow Glue because it has a little wiggle room so you can use your fingers in the window hole to line up both pieces.
~Glue the Window Sheet on the back of the card front. You just need glue around the edges of the Window Sheet.
~Attach the Happiest Birthday Banner with the adhesive of your choice.
~Attach the Ice Cream Cone with half Stampin’ Dimensionals 5. Make the Shaker Card.
~Put your Foam Adhesive strips on the back of your card front within about 1/4″ from the window cut-out making sure there are no small gaps for your Sprinkles to escape through. Rub the part of the Foam Adhesive Strip that is in the center where the sprinkles will be with your Embossing Buddy to remove all the sticky from the sides. This will help prevent your Sprinkles from sticking to the Foam. If you look closely, you can see I forgot this step.
~Also put some Foam Adhesive Strips about 1/4″ from the edge of the back side of the card front.
~Optional: Line up the Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece with the completed card front to get an idea of where to place some of the Sprinkles with Glue Dots. Attach a few Sprinkles on the Whisper White piece with Glue Dots. Cut away the excess Glue Dot that sticks out beyone the Sprinkle if you want a smaller glob of Sprinkles to collect on the Glue Dot. I just left the Glue Dot as is of all but one of the added Sprinkles.
~Put the desired amount of Sprinkles on the back of the card front inside the Foam Window. Match up the sides of the Whisper White piece and the card front and attach.
