This Cardinal Thank You Card uses the Christmas Countdown stamp set. This is a pretty quick card to make with a little coloring. So have a little fun making a Thank You card for the someone who will give you a special gift.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Christmas Countdown #151833
Flourishing Phrases #151407
Inks: Early Espresso
Real red
Shaded Spruce
Stampin’ Write Markers: Real Red
Call Me Clover
Stampin’ Blends: Real Red Combo Pack #147935
Cardstock: Whisper White
Shaded Spruce
Adhesive: SNAIL or Tombow Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
*1. Cut your papers:
~Shaded Spruce Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Whisper White Card Front: 4″ x 5-1/4″
2. Stamp:
Watch This Video if you want to stamp perfect images every time.
~Flower Border in Real Red ink. Stamp all four sides. If you don’t want the stamping to overlap at the corners just put a post-it note over the end at eht corners.
~Stamp the Cardinal in Early Espresso ink in the center of your card front.
~Now Stamp Thank You in Shaded Spruce ink.
~Then Stamp a Branch on each side of the cardinal in Shaded Spruce ink.
3. Coloring
Stampin’ Write Markers:
~Berries in Real Red
~Leaves in Call Me Clover
Cardinal: Blends Markers:
~Dark Real Red: All the black parts and along the bottom of the bird body.
~Light Real Red: Color and blend the whole bird.
4. Attach your completed card front to your card base.
Your Cardinal Thank You Card is finished.
