Answer: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue is the best general adhesive to use on cards and paper crafting projects. Use it to attach:
~Cardstock and paper layers
~Embellishments and bling
~Bows with a dot on the back of the knot.
~3D projects such as boxes and containers.
Pros:
~It can be used on everything.
~You have a little time to maneuver it into place.
Cons:
~You can get glue on your fingers. Just rub the glue off with your fingers.
What do I use Glue Dots for?
Always use at least two Glue Dots to keep the item from moving around. Using the Paper Piercing tip of your Take Your Pick Tool will make it easier to remove the Glue Dots in their round shape and place it where you want it.
~Paper layers
~Embellishments
~Bows with Ribbon and Baker’s Twine.
~Small Die Cut or punched items
Stampin’ Dimensionals
~Use Stampin’ Dimensionals when you want to add a lift to a portion of your project such as labels, die cuts, punched items.
~Standard Stampin’ Dimensionals: Use them whole. You can cut them in half for narrow areas. Cut the edges or use as a strip under a longer, narrow cardstock strip.
~Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals: used under smaller items. You can also cut them in half and you can cut up the edges to use.
~There are also Black Stampin; Dimensionals to use under dark colors. They come in a combo pack with both the Standard and Mini sizes.
Tear & Tape
You can use Tear & Tape on anything that needs a super strong hold such as Boxes and containers you make.
Tear & Tape is also the best adhesive for attaching Strips of Ribbon to your card or project. Just put it either on the back of the ribbon OR on the card or project where you want the ribbon to be.
How do I keep Adhesives from messing up my work surface?
Use a Silicone Craft Sheet as the bottom layer when adding adhesives to your projects. This will keep your work surface clean. Rub the Adhesives off your Silicone Craft Sheet to keep it clean. Now your work surface will remain clean and not sticky.
