We made this Accordion Tag Popup Card at my Fun Fold Card Class this month. It is fairly easy to make. It is also fun to figure out how to decorate it. Enjoy making one of your own. And because this is a 5th Monday, this card is also part of a FUN Challenge!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Accordion Tag PopUp:
1. Cut your Accordion Tag PopUp cardstock at 4-3/4” x 8”.
2. Score at 2”, 4”, 6”. Fold and crease with your Bone Folder.
3. Fold the left two sections together. Push into the punch and lay them on the table and punch. Repeat with the right two sections. Cardstock is too thick to punch all four sections at a time. You could probably punch just one section at a time if you manipulate the cardstock properly.
4. Stamp and Color the left section:
~Stamp your Bird and words with Memento Black ink.
~Color with Blends Markers: Most of the bird with Crumb Cake. Front of the bird with Petal Pink.
5. Stamp and Color the center right section:
~Stamp with Memento Black ink.
~Color with Stampin’ Write Markers:
Mossy Meadow: Swirl Leaves
Old Olive: Leaves
Lovely Lipstick or color of your choice: Flowers
Balmy Blue and
Pacific Point: Butterfly
6. Choose two patterns of DSP and cut at 1-3/4” x 4-1/2”. Then Punch with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I would recommend cutting both pieces at the same time and punching at the same time. ~Attach to the blank Tag sections.
7. Put Tear and Tape along the two outside edges of the Accordion Tag.
BASIC CARD
1. Cut your Mint Macaron card base at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”. Score and fold at 4-1/4”.
2. Cut your DSP Card front at 4” x 5-1/4”. Attach to card base.
3. Stamp your words on Whisper White cardstock with Mossy Meadow ink. Punch out with the Pretty Label Punch.
ATTACHING THE ACCORDION TAG POPUP TO YOUR CARD BASE
1. Make sure your card has the top in the correct position. I say this because it will be hard to fix this if you put your PopUp in upside down.
2. Open your card base.
3. Line up the center fold of your card base with the center fold of your PopUp. I used a Post-It Note to hold the PopUp in place.
4. Fold over one edge and remove the adhesive backing, then press down in place on the card base. Repeat with the other edge.
5. Fold your center sections so they Pop Out.
6. Close your card and run your Bone Folder over the back of your card. You can put a clean piece of paper over the back if you are worried about marking up your card.
7. Attach your Stamped Pretty Label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Your Accordion Tag PopUp Card is finished
