This Gold & Flowers Thinking of You Hot Foil Card took less than 30 minutes to make. The time includes cutting, and waiting time. Have fun making your OWN version!

SUPPLIES:
Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock
Bloom Boutique 12×12 Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Optional Basic White cardstock for Card Insert
Hot Foil System: Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Classic Greetings Dies (part of Hot Foil Dies above)
Twine: Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack
Embellishments: 2026-2028 In Color Dots
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:
*Plug in your Hot Foil System. It will take about 6 minutes to heat up and Beep.
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Crisp Cantaloupe Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~DSP Print: 4″ x 5-1/4″
~Crisp Cantaloupe for Foiling: 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
~Gold Foil: 3-1/2″ x 5″ (Foil is 5″ wide)
~Optional Basic White Card Insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″. Not shown in the video.
2-When Your Hot Foil Platform Beeps:
~Lay your Die on the Platform to Heat up.
~Press the White Button.
~Wait about 1 to 1-1/2 minutes for the Beep.
~Beep
~Lay your Foil (Gold side down) onto your Die.
~Add your Cardstock trying to center it over your Die and Foil.
~Then add yoour Green Shim and your Clear Spacer.
~Unplug your Platform.
3-Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine:
~SLOWLY run your Hot Foil Platform through your Machine. ONLY go one direction!!
~Set your Foiling Platform back on its Station to cool.
~Remove the Spacer, the Shim, and your Cardstock.
~Peel the foil from your cardstock. Admire how pretty and shiny it is!
~Use the coordinating Cutting Die to cut out your Words.
4-Finish Your Card:
~Wrap some Baker’s Twine around your DSP Print so there are four strands showing.
~Wrap the end around the strands twice and tie a knot. Trim the end.
~Attach your Foiled Words to your DSP Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Glue your DSP Print to your Card Base.
~Add some embellishments.
~Glue your Card Insert inside your Card if desired.
