These Happy Father’s Day in the Forest Cards are for my sons & sons-in-law. They use the Silly Old Bear Forest print Designer Series Paper.

Ink: White Gel Pen
Cardstock: Peaceful Pine cardstock
Basic White cardstock OR Very Vanilla cardstock
Silly Old Bear 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Phrases & Frames Dies (also part of a Bundle)
Impressions Plate
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Peaceful Pine Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~DSP Print: 4″ x 5-1/4″
~Card Insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White OR Very Vanilla
2-Cut & Emboss:
Note: You can get four of this Frame from a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of cardstock if you put the die really close to the edges.
~Die cut your Frame from Peaceful Pine cardstock. Save the center piece to write on.
Emboss Your Frame:
~Set up your Sandwich: Plate 1, Plate 2, Die with cutting edge up and cardstock frame lined up inside, Impressions Mat, Plate 4
~Make sure your die cut is lined up correctly in the Frame die. I like to held it in place, either with my fingers or tape, while laying the Impressions Plate on top.
~Crank it through your machine.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Write Happy Father’s Day with your White Gel Pen. You could also stamp your Words with VersaMark ink, add Embossing Powder, and melt the Embossing Powder with your Heat Tool.
~Glue your DSP Print onto your Card Base.
~Decide where you want your Frame. I tried to cover up the Winnie the Pooh in the Trees, but missed one. I know which son-in-law to give this one to…
~Glue on your Frame, but don’t press down hard yet,
~Lay your Words inside your Frame. Move the Frame sides to cover any gaps.
~Glue your Card Insert inside your Card.
Your Happy Father’s Day in the Forest Cards are done.
